Law enforcement are seeking two alleged looters in Willow Creek after the two men reportedly burglarized a property before 7 p.m. on Friday, August 12 in an area of Trinity County evacuated because of the Six Rivers Lightning Complex.

Officers unleashed a K-9 at one point in the northeastern part of town after ordering a suspect to surrender. However, no one was captured.

Ah but that’s a two edged sword in the days of the internet. Journalists are constitutionally unable to keep from responding even when (actually especially when) someone dares to criticise themselves. The First Amendment was trotted out because, unlike the other parts of the First Amendment about, oh let’s say religion or peaceful assembly or free speech which are tricky, freedom of the press is clear to the press. They get to define it. How dare the sheriff take a “tone” with them!

We are becoming a society of sociopaths, who refuse to think about consequences beyond the end of their noses. They think that we should bend toward following their poorly thought out opinions. They follow the smoothest road, never mind the fact that it leads over a cliff.

You say that members of the press are saints who never overstep in the pursuit of the story? Really? Maybe it’s equally true that the press should be working with the Sheriff. And I think sending in a private cadaver sniffing dog in order to get a story might very well be such an overstepping. Just in the name of transparency- which is a highly overrated or at least over touted virtue as the Kobe Bryant trial going on illuminates. There’s a great difference between reporting a story and creating one for profit.

I looked several times but I can find not one comment about members of the press being “saints.” Nada, zip. The suggestion was that LEOs work with the press within the law.
Siskiyou County Sheriff has had some bad publicity, if memory serves. They resent the spotlight on substandard performance and may consider their complaint as a preemptive strategy for future errors.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but wasn’t it Siskiyou County where a local geek was a known trouble-maker, good ‘ol boy who was unsurveiled until he showed up at a school with a rifle? An alert secretary hit the panic, lockdown button and probably averted a tragedy.
I apologize in advance if I’m wrong. This apparently inexperienced Sheriff has invited extra scrutiny on his Department.

The city of Etna just got sued over a K-9 dog mauling in Redding where the owner of the K-9, Mendes, is employed by the Etna police department. Mendes is buddies with Carlos Zapata, Shasta counties alt-right leader and purchased Zapatas martial arts studio. Law enforcement pretty much failed in any investigation.

The article is from anewscafe.com, similar to RHBB but blatantly liberal, fighting the good fight heroically and well done / good writers and investigative journalism (IMO). There are horrid pictures of the injuries and a detailed article. There are postings by the young boy’s mother and her search for resolution despite corrupt and crony police work.

Hope the Oakland law firm rains hell on these evil asshats.

There were non-extremest Republicans in control of Shasta Co. before this current group.

Remember there are exreme differences within the Republican base and elected officials currently.

Pence and Trump are backing separate running officials within the party.

Trump was just raided by the FBI.

He tried to stop the transition of power.

Pelosi and Democrats conducted a witch hunt with federal money leading to two motions for impeachment, started on the belief that Trump must be a criminal. With nothing for hard evidence but squeezing out obstruction accusation anyway. And totally pretending that hard evidence of Biden’s improper hand in the Ukraine didn’t exist. That Trump was willing to let the country suffer, in fact encourage it, over an election he probably saw as just as dishonest was his personal defect. But to pretend that the Democrats Congress were not worse is blind. They had at it for 4 years with government money. Yes, let’s be real indeed.

Trump may be a PITA and may have created a lot of dissection but Pelosi et al behaved worse and continue with regard to making every polarization worse. This raid is just the latest stupidity in the pursuit of an anti Trump agenda that would likely fade away if not continually renewed. Info the French President? Clemancy for Stone? This was reason to push the country farther into chaos? As Oprah Winfrey has said, “The thing you fear most has no power. Your fear of it is what has the power. Facing the truth really will set you free.” As I would say “Do you want to destroy what you are claiming to save?”

You can not possibly defend the actions taken the past 18 months as anything but a war on the peaceful citizens. Those who are upset, 75 plus million and growing numbers of people who feel like domestic violence is what defines our relationship with the administrative state. You are a smart cookie, and maybe even beginning to realize how the system is weaponized against US.

Well that’s an idea that cuts both ways. Maybe “more going on” is the Democrats constantly use Trump to divert their adherents from criticising their own constant overreaching. Or worse, the negative results when they actually succeed in getting control. Anytime there are issues with their own, they poke a stick at Trump and his followers. He responds predictably and creates a timely diversion.

Frankly I think it’s much more simple than any grand plot. The Democrats, consummate political animals that they are, were so smugly sure after the Obama Presidency, where they won with what would have been a previously unelectable Black Man, that they were on the road to a vast consensus about how great their policies are. They had arrived and the rest was only details. They were appalled to discover, after the election tested their ideas of a golden liberal age, their choice in the march to the shining city on the Hill ,a woman who already had a good political machine, lost. And to prove America was wrong to elect Trump, they spent a gross amount effort in making sure it was not going to have success. No matter how much radicalisation it exacerbated. Then January 6th turned around to put them on notice that they too could be drawn into the chaos. There is no wrath like that of a Democrat Congressman scorned. A thousand rioters could burn down whole city block without their turning a hair but put them in the line of so much less fire? Oh the outrage! Despite a huge protest actually having done so little real damage.

This explanation comes from the level of shock and anger expressed by liberals over Clinton’s loss. Not so much they supported Clinton as they were offended by any other Americans thumbing the most at the sacred ideals of liberals. Rather than face criticism or rethinking their premises, that their goals are not universally wanted, they created the war between the army of good (naturally themselves) and the army of evil (naturally not themselves.) That has become a disgusting pattern- both sides disregarding the damage they do to the country in pursuit of personal vindication. Not one of the adherents on either side has enough patriotism to save the country by refusing to play the game. They both indulgently see grand ideals in what is really stupid schoolyard fighting over who gets to use the swings. Ugly is not a harsh enough word.

How do you think the republicans would fair if they just stand back silently and let the democrats continue on their course of destruction?

I was watching National Geographic last night on drug smuggling. They went back to the 70s and 80s when the heroine increased in NY by 80%.
It was coming from Burma, the triangle,
and the DEA was trying to stop it, only to find out the CIA was financing it.
Biden has mourned and moaned over Beau’s cancer, but not a peep about the drugs that have defiantly damaged Hunter… why no anger there? He stated a war on cancer, why no war on fentanyl?
That gives me reason to wonder about Holders fast and furious and today’s drug imports.
I’m sure it can be found online at NG.
My point being, if you think these agencies wouldn’t plant papers in the boxes from the raid at Trumps, you’re naive.
Dem or Repub, They are in a club, and you’re not in it, you’re expendable.

I’m reluctant to say these days that’s never going to happen as outside influences have created much delusion of popularity. I suppose if Demorats run an even worse than normal candidate and if the GOP old guard has lost all control of the nomination process, it could happen. I hope not. What makes you think he could possibly do more than he did the last time with the Democrats chewing on him even more? Unless of course you would want a tyrant with a personality cult to destroy the Constitution to let him have the power?

A second term for former president could revive Schedule F

I think many people would like to see a schedule F type clean up, that’s where Trumps personality could cause trouble.

For a moment, let’s assume the best for the majority of Democrats and Republicans. Let’s assume they/we act with the best of intentions.

For the GoP and some of the Trump supporters, their support came with the best of intentions – they believed he would disrupt the stagnant and corrupt system and begin to make necessary changes. They provided this support with the best of intentions.

Trump’s rampant criminality and worse – seditious incitement to inssurection, espionage and perhaps treason – all in service to his ego, not the country, is a difficult thing (apparantly) for his supporters to admit to themselves because if they did so, they would realize they have been complicit in this tyranny.

So, they double down, lying to themselves and others again and again and like a severely mentally ill person, they develop their own delusional system of belief as to what the reality of Trump and Trumpism really is.

For us Democrats – what’s the worse that an investigation of Hunter Biden can produce? 1- he is utterly corrupt and compromised, perhaps as the result of flawed character, drug problem, and using his father’s name and position for benefiting himself or 2- father Joe may be complicit in his criminality.

We Democrats could deal with #2, many of us realize Joe is working for the nation, not himself (and not necessarily his son) and even if he violated the law, we are good with him being held accountable and falling from political grace. We can deal with that reality and move on to the next leader from the Dems.

Trump’s carnage is so vile and evil that many of his supporters can not get past denial to move to anger and action. They are stuck, and so is our country. We can’t break their concentration for their best intentions, but we need to somehow.

Maybe Trump in orange jump suit, handcuffs, on the way to federal prison would do it.

Not quite. Biden’s son’s issues lead to valid question about Biden’s own “service to the country.” And whether he is or was guilty of crimes.

Even worse the media burying it repeatedly raises issues of whether they can be trusted at all and are freely exaggerating Trump’s misdeeds and mischaracterizing his followers in support of their own politics. The amount of scrutiny invested in rummaging through Trump’s dirty laundry without turning up much is a factor to be considered when the deliberate avoidance of such rummaging has actually turned up more with Biden. There have been no “carnage”. No “rampant criminality” found despite such intense effort.

It is always hard for objective people to get past the idea that a mass of Trump protesters, fond of arms as they were, who could have actually done things like take over government agencies or armed themselves from military cachet if they were really intent on insurrection but did not.
The Capital building is not such a useful place to act if it was a widespread goal rather than a protest. Or that Trump could have directed specifically them towards that goal if he wanted yet only told them to take their protest to the Capital.

No. It’s not only Trump’s followers who are stuck. Liberals and Democrats are sure that Trump must be as evil as they fear despite much effort having not turned up much. They are as fanatical as any Trump follower in their determination to insist on it. Trump is a demagogue but the Democrats are a demagogue machine.

I live in Ft. Jones and the Etna City Police patrol here…I have not heard this about the deputy and his affiliation with the Redding bunch. I discovered ‘A News Cafe’ some weeks back and it’s amusing when not scary to read about Anselmo/Zapata contingent. Thankfully they lost big time in June elections…

As far as Jeremiah La Rue–just another ‘constitutional’ sheriff–you know, like you have over there in Humboldt…who sees “Antifa” buses everywhere…

Seeing La Rue posture and primp on the fire briefings was sickening—blah blah blah we’re the greatest…’our’ community…quack quack, pose pose.

She very well might not mean what you think. The not detailed directive of a political appointee for public consumption is unlikely to be what will happen if the actual law is followed. The first thing that occurs is that some people would not have been considered to be earning $400k per year under previous regulations but will be under the new. Voilá. And then a whole lot of people are not subject to audits for the convenience of the IRS, not because there is some regulation barring it. Now that they can, who knows.

But maybe IRS will finally pay my refund from 2020 now. Or at least from 2021.

how the poor have fewer tools to hold the wealthy accountable. Look at how our system has been capturedone by those who get very wealthy in public service. Obama was a community organizer, one term senator, presidential candidate, and after his presidency, Is wealthier beyond any (black) man who built his own business in that same time period. If you honestly can’t meditate on how this happens with a subjective approach to how influence and power is much more profitable than being a wage earner, like the majority of the world, then you can’t fundamentally understand what is wrong with this system. https://www.afr.com/work-and-careers/management/the-obamas-are-worth-30-times-more-than-when-they-entered-the-white-house-20180912-h159bg https://www.businessinsider.com/barack-obama-michelle-obama-net-worth-2018-7 Say what you want. DONALD TRUMP probably lost what the OBAMAs have made. Think about those very important facts as to the nature of public service, and why , even at the local level, we see the same kinds of behavior…just a much smaller scale. The working people in this world are the most exploited people who on earth who are forced to accept a system that wants to control everything about your life experience.

“Earnings” are Net NOT Gross Income.

Mixing up the most basic concepts causes deep and profound “misconceptions”.

From there comes the
spiraling…and on down goes it…blah blah blah.

Now the gaslit poor and (low-mid) middle class will start defending the uber rich out of misconception and fear.

The ~87K agents will be added over 10yrs in 5.7k-12k lots each yr over 10yrs.

The idea that IRS agents will threaten injury w guns to force people to pay taxes is absurd.

IRS has always had an armed force designated as LEOs, much like nearly every other federal agency
It is a small % of the overall IRS workforce which is primarily administrative.
THIS IS NOT NEW.

They expect to pull in ~$700Billion over 10yrs.
That’s ~$2058 per citizen over 10yrs.
$205.80 per year.
Primarily from people who make over $400k/yr.

The peasants should have their facts straight before they freak out about armed IRS agents as the billionaires & major millionaires flood the news sphere with propoganda that the IRS will come into your home w guns pointed at you & your kids.
Absurd ass bullshit.

We had 10s of thousands more IRS agents in 1995 than now.

Hello! The point is that congress and the IRS define what income counts for tax purposes as income and what doesn’t. Social Security has a level of exemption from being taxable. Donations to a tax exempt entity are not income. Municiple bond interest. Interest from a Ross IRA. Child support and alimony. Inheritance, gifts and welfare. Life insurance payouts.
The details matter and are constantly debated in Congress and called “loopholes” in the press.

I never said anything about “net.” Although the same lawmakers create what can be deducted too.

Why should an agent of the administrative state get to take what you built and paid for, under the threat of lethal force, when that administrative state refuses to protect its own citizens from illegal immigrants, drug importation, billionaires who use their wealth to get people elected who act in direct opposition to the working class and their families needs, and by the amount of money it takes to run a successful campaign, it literally prevent common everyday people from having a seat at the table, while sending trillions overseas , in foriegn aid, when. It only serves to make the investor class even more wealthy and influential.

It’s been reported that only 30% of the money sent to Ukraine has been accounted for….

It makes perfect sense to see people protecting those who abuse them, because I am aware of the psychological aspect of the war we are the subject of.

Deep down, people are just fundamentally unable to divorce themselves from these top heavy control mechanisms….

People who understand how slavery was able to take hold and perpetuate for millenia, might have am understanding of the relationship between rich and poor.

Do you consider them tax cheats, too?

Is it cheating to still pay income taxes for years with no income?

This is Humboldt, how is paying $6.00 to $7.00 a gallon of gas, not to mention all the other exorbitant, overinflated prices, not getting taxed?

What is income for tax purposes is not necessarily income in reality. Ask anyone getting Social Security. Or income municiple bonds. Or in the other direction getting residuals. Income has a different meaning for IRS purposes than what ordinary people think is income. I predict cities will have an increased source of income from municiple bond sales shortly. At least until the dust settles.

Actually there are a myriad of non religious organizations who are very political and yet benefit from tax exemptions. Things like Common Cause, Chamber of Commerce, Earth First, various Universities, the Sierra Club, etc have strong political activity but are considered tax exempt under the public welfare parts of the tax code. Heck, PACS are all about tax exemption yet are very partisan politically in fact.

The main difference between a “non profit”, which can be very profitable for the people who run it, and churches is that there is an assumption that churches serve the public good while other organizations are required to submit paper work to “prove” it. “Prove being in quotes be cause the sometimes don’t bother with.

Wrong about Sierra club – it’s non profit, but not tax exempt . You can not deduct donations to them. Why?because they make political endorsements. That is, they play by the rules. Unlike churches!

The Sierra Club Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt public charity. That then gives “grants” to the Sierra Club. For “political action” while calling it education. If they want to pay a candidate, people donate to the Sierra Club Independent Action group. Just like PACS versus direct political contributions.

Maybe you can’t deduct dues but that’s are not really where the Sierra Club gets it funding. By the same standards, the churches are playing by the rules. The same convoluted, litigated, government rules. Except for the proving it to the IRS . In fact for example the Catholic Church is much less directly involved in politics by commitment to leaving to Caesar what is Caesars. Just because a person of religion donates or demonstrates does not mean the religion organization is doing it. Even to the point where Catholic Relief Services is constantly criticised for supporting clinics that do abortions and politicians who support it.

Liberal’s have a bad case of “Mother, he’s touching me” mentality when it comes to Trump. The government is a piss poor referee of government. Either it’s too afraid that it will suffer from the same judgements in turn and pretends the same problems don’t exist in its share of governing or it turns into an authoritarian abuser who gleefully misuses government to target enemies.

Expecting the government to do the public’s dirty work of judging other politicians always backfires. Because the attackers are every bit as disgusting as the attacked. There is no moral high ground here. Only partisanship.

Well, it’s been passed and I suspect it will still take years to find out what’s really in it. After the usual process of interpreting it into actual regulation and after resolving “mistakes” with Congress, has any legislation in the last two decades ever helped the “little guy?”

Agree about pretty much everything but Ukraine appeasing aggression is never cost effective. America guaranteed their integrity and soveriegnty in return for surrendering their nuclear stockpile and all they ask in return is weapons to defend themselves from the invading orcs. The rebuilding can be paid for by the soveriegn Russian funds 300 billion but America is the only country with enough weapons stockpiled to make a difference.

Years of congressional underfunding of the IRS has left the agency without the resources to quickly process returns, let alone assess the complex tax-avoidance strategies of well-heeled individuals. So audit rates have fallen dramatically and more taxpayers are presumed to be not paying what they owe.
For each dollar of additional spending on enforcement, the IRS estimates that it collects an average of $5 of revenue.
On page 17 of the Treasury report, a chart shows that almost $80 billion in new resources over 10 years would allow for the hiring of 86,852 full-time employees in the next decade. The report says the new staff, added in annual increments of about 7,000 to 12,000 people, would conduct audits, improve informational technology and enhance customer service.
Most of those hires would not be Internal Revenue agents, and wouldn’t be new positions.

There is no possible way I could possibly condone taking an average of $236.00 from each and every American, man, woman, and child, in order to take an average of another additional, $1,180.00 from each American man, woman, and child!!!

“For each dollar of additional spending on enforcement, the IRS estimates that it collects an average of $5 of revenue.”

Please realize that such bullshit simply boils down to the Biden administration taking $480,000,000,000.00 from the people of America!!!

The Biden administration is planning to squeeze an additional $1,416.00, on average, out of each and every American, man woman and child, and that somehow makes sense?

Tell me, just exactly how is that going to help Americans?

It’s the opposite of a stimulus check.

I don’t need help understanding that clawing back a mere 1% of something that should never have been allowed at all, is not something that I would consider even in the realm of a win.

Not even close.

It’s a joke.

“Inflation Reduction Act” my ass.

I refuse to shop in Garberville or Redway anymore, due to the exorbitant prices, but I went into Sentry yesterday, just to check the price of eggs.

$ 4.50 a dozen for the cheapest ones.

The last time I was in there the price was $3.00 a dozen.

That’s a 50% increase, since last I shopped there…

That’s a lot of inflation.

Please try explaining to me how this Biden inflation reduction act is supposed to be working, again, because it’s not working.

It puts no money in the people’s pocket, it just puts more money into the government’s pocket.

And it’s not bringing prices down, nor is it bringing wages up.

Leaving 99% of “buy backs” effectively untaxed, is not the answer, as the “whales” won’t even feel that loss…

It’s quite obviously a win for them…

1%?

That’s a complete joke.

So what’s that got to do with inflation “eggactly”?
Not a damn thing.
We used to give away eggs, donate meat to Saint Paul’s.
Gave goats milk to mothers whose children were allergic to cows milk. Had a fruit and vegetable stand that was on the honor system and people paid what they could.

How do you like them apples? Or should I say eggs.
And back to inflation which is what I was talking about..Give it time it’s going down and will continue to.

And the price of eggs was just one eggsample…

The rate of inflation might come down, but prices won’t.

The rate of inflation could drop to zero, and groceries, etc. will stay at the very same, eggsorbitant prices…

I don’t eggspect them to return to the previous levels.

One big problem is that taxing the richest is like squeezing sand- they have hundred thousand lobbyists, tax lawyers and accountants to find ways to let the money move to where the squeeze is less. As they have surely already been alerted to do by the market moves of Congressmen. Congress just has zero resistance to special interest fiddling with the law because that’s where their own money is raised, from speaker fees to free vacations and campaign funding. Within a month, there will be plots and stratagems on all the media sites to take action “right now.” And it will be another 20 years before the government will deal with it.

Congress has to be willing to give up that very lucrative power if the Tax Code modification before it will change. And they would not get the votes if they did. The tax code should be freed from politics and the government willing to fund what they want without using it. And that will happen when pigs fly.

Sure bud, I am, and have been, paying taxes every year, even through the years that I was denied the disability that you insist I continue to support, even though I could barely walk, due to pelvic injury, screaming sciatica, had a misdiagnosed dislocation in one of my dominant extremities for 6 years, while it’s compliment was reconstructed, and have been laid up, or on crutches for plenty of time…

I wouldn’t have asked for it, if I hadn’t needed it. But I was denied.

And guess what? I’m 60, started working at 14, and have probably only been able to hold down a real job, for about 5 or 6 years of my life, due to my own limiting issues…

But yeah, let me, disabled but denied disability, keep supporting you…

I never had a problem with it before, and was willing, and able, to do it.

And when the powers that be, ( Maguire and Wood), asked for blood, I stepped up and gave it! Etc.

That’s changing, bud.

But, not because I’m no longer willing…

I’m too broke, and I’m too broke down and depleted…

I like that you said please, but I’ve been paying, even when I don’t make any money, and I’m not seeing the “thanks”.

I worked on your place before, many years ago, and I do have respect for you and your family, all very nice, polite, people, thanks for the work.

But get off my back, about paying my taxes.

Enough is enough.

Your going to have to adjust to getting by without me, from now on.

Not that it will make much difference.

Sad but true.

I’ll probably keep paying taxes, for a bit, but don’t keep banking on it, please.

I just hope that I can figure out how to continue.

so, you think maybe the stimulus checks don’t have to paid for? when the gov’t gives out or pays for stuff for other people, the people pay. the IRS has never covered the expenses through tax collections. same when ‘windfall taxes’ are levied on businesses, they raise their prices to cover it. you can have your cake, and eat it, but you can’t eat, then still have it.

All law enforcement is notorious for this.
Look at all the weapons and military vehicles local law enforcement loads up on.

As as explained earlier IRS
criminal investigators go on multi agency raids. Ice, FBI, Homeland Security. They also deal with drug cartels and organized crime..
IRS agents have been armed since before Prohibition.
This has all been explained days ago..

I’m not sure IRS was as much underfunded as overworked. Congress has this habit of adding duties by law whenever they get wary of be accused of raising taxes. They have a sort of “If you build it, they will come” fantasy where they hide the costs of their legislation by burying it in the tax code. They have a sort of adolescent fantasy that no one needs pay for necessities like personnel, failing buildings, electricity, etc when they add work like ACA or Covid Relidf. Oh they usually throw some more money in the pot but never enough to cover the complications they legislate.

Grey fox, respectfully…. You missed the point of my comment. We may need I.R.S. auditors, but they are the nose of the camel under the tent. I fear that they will become armed law enforcement. New government agents, with little oversight. Which is okay, until you become the target. You will have little or no recourse against them.

if folks are going to include random comments here with the little looters about the big boy looters like IRS i feel obligated to point out that the income tax was established under woodrow wilson because of political sex blackmail done by the exact same people who are behind epstein maxwell wexner bronfman MEGA Group. weve had the EXACT same figurehead president for over a hundred years now, following bankers orders… the federal reserve banking system was also established due to this same control over the whitehouse wielded by this tiny group of individuals. another perk for these criminals was US entry into ww1 which was very lucrative for them, and the Balfour Declaration, but very few understand the machinations behind this. its all voluminously documented but since the same people control education and the media, nobody seems too familiar with the details. i would suggest folks look into it a tiny bit for themselves to come to a greater understanding of world events, and the concept of presidents in modern times. personally im in favor of more vigilante justice for looters. and that would include the too big to fail bailout which gave, no questions asked, and no accounting, about 14 trillion of our tax dollars to cia front companies like AIG and notorious laundries like citibank. our gubbernmint actually told us that the 875 billion dollar figure that they told us was just a made up number to convey to us that it was a large amount. they actually said this!!!!! before about 1913 we did not pay any income tax. the most important thing about that is the people who engineered this scam are not well known- because they tell us what to think about, and its definitely not them. https://archive.org/details/MichaelCollinsPiperWhoTowersBehindTrump im including a photo of puppets obummer rump and shrub. the bus driver may change but the route remains the same. its not very difficult to learn the important details of how every job obomber ever had was for a cia front company, and his mother father stepdad and grandparents all worked for the cia. you might want to look into the details of who actually gives the orders to the intelligence agencies (hint: its the same old banking dynasty families and their criminal allies.) read the voltaire article: “All in the Company” by wayne madsen. george bush2 the village idiot, hopefully folks need no education about the details of how he wasnt the actual decision maker… hahaha face reality.

It’s the, “…because of…” that negates any competent retelling of historical events.

His viewpoints may seem to be extreme, but they are accurate.

You mention Wayne Madsen. What a hoot he’s been over the many years. Here’s his latest book, titled ‘The Rise of the Fourth Fascist Reich, the Era of Trumpism and the Far Right’.
National Press Club had Madsen speak anniversary of Jan6 insurrection:

Strange isn’t that so many people can turn their own extremism into a book deal?

Which come to think of it was the way Trump selected what papers to take from the White House. A future book deal.

Last I saw he was driving an old black Ford Ranger, with “Toot” riding shotgun…

I barely recognized him…

But, “Toot”, looked about the same as always…

“…so please call us right away if you see them.”
With faces blurred out, that’s not gonna be so easy.

The State Department alerted U.S. citizens near Tijuana, Mexico, early Saturday to shelter in place due to fires, roadblocks and police activity.
“The U.S. Consulate General Tijuana is aware of reports of multiple vehicle fires, roadblocks, and heavy police activity in Tijuana, Mexicali, Rosarito, Ensenada, and Tecate,” wrote the U.S. Consulate in Tijuana in a statement.
“U.S. government employees have been instructed to shelter in place until further notice,” it continued.

During the Wine Country fires of 2017, the National Guard guarded the neighborhoods in Santa Rosa from looting. I thought that was a great use of them.
