Coffee with a Cop at the Garberville Farmers’ Market on August 12th
This is a press release from Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:
Join your neighbors and local Sheriff’s Deputies for coffee and conversation while shopping for produce.
This event is hosted by the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and the Southern Humboldt Chamber of Commerce. Coffee and treats will be available for free to the public.
The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between deputies and the citizens they serve by removing agendas and allowing opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the deputies in your neighborhood.

Sounds like coffee and donuts are more of a priority for HCSO than being available to show up when they are needed for their real job.
Alf, you’re stup-d. This is a great way for deputies to be accessible to the citizenry if we want true community policing.
Go there and tell them your concerns! (if you’re brave enough to use your real name…)

My sarcasm clearly went over your head. It was a joking response to the fact that Honsal passes the work of his deputies off to CHP and any other law enforcement agency he can on a regular basis all while refusing to man the Garberville station. If you don’t know that, than you’re the “stup-d” one as it is 100% fact.
