Candidate Filing and Voter Registration Access at Hoopa Sovereign Days

red white and blue sign reading 'register to vote'The Humboldt County Office of Elections plans to have a booth at the 34th Annual Hoopa Sovereign Days celebration on Friday, August 12.

The Office of Elections booth at Sovereign Days will be located on NF Lawn near the Hoopa Neighborhood Facilities (NF) Building, located at 11860 Sate Highway 96 in Hoopa.

Elections staff will be available on from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to provide voter registration services to residents to ensure their information is current for the upcoming statewide General Election on Tuesday, November 8. In addition, staff will be on hand to provide candidate filing services for those interested in running for local office.

Are they going to have fireworks this year?
Hoopa has a great fireworks show every year without starting fires.
It’s because they burn at the right times.
I wish people could learn how it’s done!
I’m white as they make so I can’t vote in Hoopa but I always like the fireworks
