Redwoods Rural Health Center Celebrates National Health Center Week

Redwoods Rural Health Center is celebrating National Health Center Week (NHCW) with some special activities. RRHC would like to invite all patients and the community to attend our Patient Appreciation Luncheon on Aug. 11 from noon to 2:00pm at our Dental Office, 101 West Coast Rd. in Redway.  The health center will provide a lunch of sandwiches and salads for all who attend as well as free giveaways and information about the services we offer our community.

During the event, attendees are welcome to tour the newly renovated dental office.  The dental office remodel includes updated cabinetry, flooring and a modernized patient flow throughout the building, as well as new exam chairs and equipment.  We are excited to reopen the 101 West Coast Rd. Dental site to serve patients Monday-Friday starting Monday, August 15.

RRHC is one of 1,403 federally-funded healthcare providers throughout the US celebrating National Health Center Week (August 7-13). Redwoods Rural Health Center plays a vital role in ensuring everyone has access to care, regardless of their socio-economic or insurance status. The team at RRHC isn’t just healers, we are innovators who look beyond medical charts to address the factors that may cause poor health, such as poverty, homelessness, substance abuse, mental illness, lack of nutrition and unemployment. Additionally, we are unique in that the majority of our governing board consists of active patients of the health center. RRHC sends our appreciation to these patient leaders who are committed to ensuring the health center thrives and that we continue to meet the healthcare needs of our community.
