Fire is located northeast of Willow Creek on Waterman Ridge Road 7N02 Forest Route 4.CEDAR: Approx 80 acres. Hose lay around fire. Multiple resources on-scene, engines, watertender, and hotshot crew. Additional resources in-route. Fire is located near Waterman Fire.BREMER: 15 acres. Four engines and one hotshot crew. Fire is located northeast of Willow Creek on ridgetop above the Bigfoot Subdivision.BRAVO: Approx. 50 acres. Fire is located south of Willow Creek between Baldwin and Campbell Ridge.CAMPBELL: Approx. 100 acres. Fire is located south of Willow Creek on the west side of Campbell Ridge above Campbell Ridge Road. Mad River Hotshots on scene.FRIDAY: Fire is located south of Willow Creek ½ mile up Friday Ridge Rd from Hwy 299.OAK: 200 acres. Fire is located south of Willow Creek. The only way out of here is Martin’s Ferry Rd. if we are evacuated. Red Cross shelter is here for evacuated from Siead Valley if HWY 96 is closed between Hoopa and Willow Creek
Yes, Thank you Kym, and Men and Women who awoke at 2:15 to the prospect of their communities burning down. Everyone I know just put boots on and got to work. Not a lot a time for idle chatter. But it’s looking good and from what I hear major reinforcements on the way!
