Join us in celebrating the delicious abundance of Humboldt County’s summer tastes at our second annual Farmer’s Market To Go Dinner. This taste of summer’s bounty is inspired by Asian street food, and will feature ingredients from our finest local agricultural producers. Local chef and caterer Casandra Kelly has teamed up with the North Coast Growers Association (NCGA) once again to create a delicious menu sourced directly from your favorite farmers’ market vendors. Dinners can be conveniently picked up by drive-through at the Bayside Community Hall on July 17.
You can enjoy this amazing celebration of local food knowing that the Farmers’ Market To Go Dinner is a fundraiser for the NCGA, the local non-profit which operates all our certified farmers’ markets in Humboldt County. With 11 farmers’ markets and multiple nutrition programs, NCGA staff and our farmers work tirelessly to feed our community. Your purchase of a dinner will go directly to help the NCGA purchase a new vehicle for markets and the Harvest Box program, as well as support efforts to build resilience in our food system. We hope you will join us for dinner!
We are so excited to showcase the incredible wide array of foods our producers have to offer. Take a Sunday evening off from cooking and relax with those you love over a decadent meal from the NCGA!

We all know and love the local farmers’ markets, but something unique about our local Humboldt County markets is that all agricultural products are grown or raised in Humboldt County. Many farmers’ markets in California feature vendors from across the state. Our local agricultural producers are truly local and supporting local agriculture means you contribute to keeping our local food system strong and resilient. Having a robust local food system is a critical element of a strong local economy. Resiliency and availability of local food production is absolutely vital to our sustainability.
To celebrate local produce the right way, we offer freshly picked and artfully arranged locally grown flower bouquets to add to your evening of elegance and enjoyment. Surprise the person you love with not only a high-end local dinner, but also a bright and cheerful burst of color to adorn your table. Flowers are grown locally by Artio Flower Farm in Korbel and Gallup Homestead in Redwood Valley.

We look forward to celebrating the bounty of the summer season and supporting the North Coast Growers’ Association and your local farmers with you on July 17!
