[UPDATE 9:40 a.m.] Occupants May Need Extrication After a Crash off Hwy 299 This Morning
A gold Toyota Camry went over the embankment on Hwy 299 at mile marker 32.61 east of Berry Summit and struck a tree, according to a report over the scanner and on the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.
The occupants may need extrication, according to the dispatcher speaking to emergency personal being sent to the scene of the accident.
An ambulance and the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department are responding.

UPDATE 9:40 a.m.: Emergency personnel report that the vehicle is about 40 feet down the embankment and it has several flat tires.
