Headline: Humboldt Arts Council & the Morris Graves Museum of Art Receives Donation from the CalRTA
Museum Hours: Wednesday – Sunday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Members from the California Retired Teachers Association (CalRTA-Division 27) presented a check to Jemima Harr, Executive Director-Curator of the Humboldt Arts Council and the Morris Graves Museum of Art in support of the HAC’s Youth Art Education Programs. This generous donation goes to support youth art education programs at the Morris Graves Museum of Art as well as outreach programs in Humboldt County Schools. Harr says “The HAC operates on the belief that providing art experiences for all is a critical component in building well-rounded individuals as well as a strong community. Our retired teachers know well how much incorporating the arts into education can impact learning and we truly appreciate their support and endorsement of the work we do to support students in Humboldt County.”
