No.
Surely you meant, “no, thank you.”
✌
Dang, just left arcata heading home to sohum for a much needed day off. Catch ya next time RHBBs.
Holy moly.
Kym could sell BBs and call them RHBBBBs.
Sounds like a great time. Unfortunately, stuck in yreka
I think I kinda know you and yours already anyway
Back in the seventies the USDA did soil analysis for Big Tobacco to determine where in California would be the best place to grow cannabis. The report pointed to Humboldt County because it had great weather for it, but most importantly almost perfect ratios of secondary and micronutrients in the native soil. BT was looking to buy this place up if it had been legalized.
I was mystified by the people who moved here and imported their soil from the grape industry.
You are not smoking Humboldt’s best if it was grown in imported soil. Not by a long shot.
Hats off to Kym and her hard working family for keeping the REAL Humboldt product alive.
Yes. How can they call it Humboldt grown when it’s from bags of artificial soil?
The county of origin regs only speak to physical boundaries where the product was produced, so even indoor hydroponic weed could be labeled “Humboldt grown”.
But the appellation regs require that all appellation designations require native soil, outdoor, production. I don’t know what the time-frame for getting appellations approved and operating is, but it is on the way
And how can they call themselves farmers if everything is grown in pots?
Back in the seventies the USDA did soil analysis for Big Tobacco to determine where in California would be the best place to grow cannabis.
Ummmm. No they did not.
The report pointed to Humboldt County because it had great weather for it…
So a USDA/tobacco/cannabis soil sample test ended up saying “Humboldt has great weather…”?
Did meteorologists also come to Humboldt and proclaim anything about the soil then?
What’s up with the attitude?
(It’s all about the latitude…)
(Maybe mixed with the relative altitude…)
Yeah. They said when it rains it turns to mud.
That’s funny. 👍
Lmao. You see any natural dirt. It’s all raised beds potting soil. Omg have u ever grown. Wow . Anyway. Pot will be irrelevant up in the triangle in another 5 yrs. And where her farm is. God coastal influence a real problem. Stop kissing ass
I’m not sure what you think you know but, we grow in native soil in the ground. And coastal influence is just a kiss of cool at night.
Kiss of cool . Ok. Yep those 10 lb plants thrive on those native nutrients every yr. Let’s see when the rain hits the redwoods where u grow
Imagine insisting that the part of America that literally invented the modern weed industry by growing large outdoor plants in amended native soil is a bad place to grow weed.
Real genius level stuff
I’m not sure if you are aware but my son is our third generation growing here. We’re clear on what our climate is like after all this time.
Clearly, you are not as there are no redwoods on the piece where we grow cannabis. I think you might have us mixed with someone else.
What’s your next event?
We’re not sure. We’re outdoor, sungrown, and so the market forces push for deps this time of year. But, folks are happy with our buds they’ve been buying in dispensaries…so, we’ll see.
Meanwhile, Rio Dell and Eureka’s Proper Wellness have our product, as does The Humboldt County Collective on Myrtle in Eureka and, of course, HPRC and as well as Herb and Market in Arcata.
Thanks.
Keep us posted , please, on any of your upcoming events, especially local ones…
I’m on my way
Timing is everything. Next time!
Remember that dumbass scarf lady Deborah Birx? She was one of the top promoters of the COVID-19 virus nonsense. She was a big promoter of the lockdowns during the last year of Donald Trump’s presidency after joining the COVID-19 taskforce. She was forced out of her job after telling people they couldn’t spend Thanksgiving with their families. She said this as she spent time with her own family that same Thanksgiving. The hypocrisy was too much so she had to leave.
The price of tea in China is dependent on a variety of factors. However, the standard range for a 500-gram tea is from CYN 70 ($10) to CYN 7059 ($1000). The most expensive teas in China can even reach up to $2.8 million!

So, how’d it go kym? Good turnout? Did people like your weed?
Sigh, terrible turnout. Great networking opportunity though.
Should have let me know…I was at the market!
Dang! I would have loved to have seen you.
At least something came out of it. And it was a beautiful day in arcata
