‘Showcasing the Region’: Grand Opening for New Cannabis Dispensary in Willow Creek

Bigfoot CannabisPress release from Bigfoot Cannabis Company:

Bigfoot Cannabis Company is celebrating its grand opening on June 18 at 39008 hwy 299 in Willow Creek with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10a.m. Food will be available at the Manzanilla food truck all afternoon.

Bigfoot Cannabis Co. is a locally owned and operated microbusiness, licensed for retail, distribution, and manufacturing under license number C12-0000404-LIC. and is a member of the Willow Creek Cannabis Alliance. As the first dispensary to open in Willow Creek, a region known for its rivers and sunshine, its produce and craft cannabis, the spacious store offers a chance to sample products grown in the area.

For the owner, it’s about “showcasing the region. We sell only local, sungrown, small-farm flower.” The Bigfoot Cannabis Co. branded flower is grown exclusively at the owner’s farm in Willow Creek. Bigfoot Cannabis Co. also retails a wide variety of cannabis products from Humboldt County.

“This kind of intentional product sourcing promotes our rural economic sustainability and supports our community as a whole,” notes Linsey Jones, Executive Director of the Willow Creek Chamber of Commerce. “We’re excited to see our Chamber members at the Bigfoot Cannabis Company build up the business community in Willow Creek with this mission!”

The store is open 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm. For more information, please contact Bigfoot Cannabis Company, LLC.

Fortuna needs to change their draconian laws and allow a Cannabis Dispensary at, The Humboldt Corner. All Fortuna cannabis customers are forced to drive out of town to shop for medication and spend their money elsewhere…

This place is a well done, tasteful shop on a busy highway. I popped in to check it out on a Sunday morning and it was doing a brisk business. I like that it is 100% local and sungrown. Good job guys, and good luck.

When Fortunans need medicine, they usually go to Greens. Although a trip over to Rings in Ferndale is enjoyable, too.

But when we wanna get baked, we usually just smoke what we grow and trade with friends for some of their stuff. Why on earth would anyone go to a dispensary to buy overpriced weed when anyone can grow quality stuff in their own back yard?

Excellent news.
Open more dispensaries, grow more marijuana, make more money. It is as simple as that. The good life awaits.

Can Willow Creek actually support a dispensary, I give it 2 years. If they anticipate their primary clients to be tourists passing thru at the price of fuel I don’t expect to see the usual numbers on 299. With the economy the way it is I don’t see that many locals purchasing there once the “new” wares off.
