T-REX

Is the most special nap buddy you will ever find. He’s lived a few years and is way beyond all that puppy nonsense. He’s very sweet and knows several commands such as “wait” and “Platz” for “sit” He is housebroke and has excellent house manners. He does love to be near you and would probably love a work at home or retired person to hang out with all day. A sunny spot in the yard is also a grand place to sit for a spell. I walk well on a leash and listen to my handler. Just like the rest of us, I put on some extra weight in my napping and lounging days, so I could use some consistent walks and less food to get back to my ideal weight. I currently weigh in at 145lbs.

There’s a hard story behind a dog like this- if he’s overweight and cooperative, he was loved by someone. Hopefully he will find someone to make up for his loss of his person.

I agree. They must also know where he came from if they know oddly specific terms like “Platz” for “sit”. With known history, I hate to imagine what became of T-Rex’s previous person.

I would if I could, but, our 10 year old, 46 pound girl still keeps on on our toes. However, if there was one Dog she could live/put up with, T-Rex seems like the one.

Good luck T, and may Dog bless you.

Platz is a common command used in German for down. So many it’s being given to him in the wrong accent.

OMD (Oh My Dog). Just look at his expression in the photo. “How can I please you?” Those are some very young puppy dog eyes for a 14 year old.
