Woman Arrested for the Third Time Since February on Drug and Firearm Charges, Says DTF

This is a press release from the Humboldt County Drug Task Force. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

Angela Lockwood

Angela Lockwood

On February 17th , 2022 the Humboldt County Drug Task Force (HCDTF) arrested Angela Lockwood (32 years old from Arcata) for multiple felony charges after seizing several firearms, narcotics, and evidence of drug sales at her residence in Arcata. Lockwood was able to post bail and got out of jail shortly after being arrested.

On May 2nd, 2022 the HCDTF again arrested Lockwood for multiple felony charges after seizing several firearms, narcotics, and evidence of drug sales. Lockwood again posted bail and was released from custody.

On Monday May 9th , 2022 the HCDTF again obtained a search warrant after learning that Lockwood and her boyfriend, Thomas “TJ” Grzymski (43 years old from Arcata), were selling fentanyl out of their residence along with their roommate, Daniel Lehman (38 years old from Arcata).

Agents served the search warrant in the 700 block of Fickle Hill Rd. in Arcata. All three suspects were detained without incident.

Inside of the residence agents located fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, digital scales, ammunition, and packaging materials. Agents also seized 1 ounce of methamphetamine, ¼ ounce of fentanyl, and 20 “perc-30” fentanyl pills that were concealed inside of Lockwood’s person. Lockwood and Grzymski are both convicted felons and not allowed to possess ammunition. All three suspects were transported and booked at the Humboldt County Jail for the following charges:

Daniel Lehman

Daniel Lehman

    • 11351 H&S Possession of fentanyl for sale
    • 11378 H&S Possession of methamphetamine for sale
    • 30305(a) PC Felon in possession of ammunition
    • 12022.1 PC Committing a felony while out on bail (Lockwood)
    • 11366.5 H&S Maintaining or operating a drug house

HCDTF Agents contacted a Humboldt County Superior Court Judge and requested a bail increase and proof of bail source for Lockwood per 1269/1275 PC. The order was granted, and Lockwood’s bail was raised to $500,000.Lockwood Evidence

She might come up with $50,000.
Bail is usually 10% of the bond money… which is non-refundable.
If you skip bail (no show in court)… the bail detectives will hunt you down.

No they wont go to eureka crime graphics and you will see most failure to appear is a result of a stop by police not a detective that’s going “hunt you down”

I agree, the Humboldt County also imposed a ‘Proof of Bail Source.

Very easy to come up with “proof of bail”. Just sign a paper and have somebody vouch basically. Most people think there are legitimately rigorous procedures in place but there really aren’t. Most people think the criminal justice system works. It doesn’t. Most people are naive about the system but the criminals know all the tricks…and the police/DA/courts keep peoples’ naive hopes alive by pretending the criminals will be apprehended, prosecuted and sentenced. We are being over run by a dangerously criminal culture and I advise all to get their own security together…

Don’t let her out 3 Strikes. The home needs to be red tagged then condemned. Running or maintaining a drug house if the landlord knows is also a felony so the landlord needs to evict them immediately. Putting up with this stuff and this bad behavior over and over her being in and out of jail three times just disgusting. Throw away the f****** keys.

It’s three convictions, not arrests. And the first two have to be violent felonies.

Men love outlaw ladies. The pictures of the stash pile kinda seals the deal. In the arena of public conviction charges are never forgotten. Stances in communities established forever. Try to get a rental or a good job after this kind of public information. Wrecking your whole life for what? Who comes out the winner in at all? Maybe the lawyers and their salaries. Sadly this young lady is at the top of a long slide down. 💔

Hmmmmm. They are Humboldt County residents. What part of Humboldt residents maintaining a drug house and 3 arrests that close together is San Francisco’s fault? Do you think it’s possible Humboldt might have to take responsibility for this one? Is it Humboldt’s DA or San Francisco’s DA that hasn’t prosecuted? There seems to be plenty of blame that is all Humboldt.

Boudin just announced a major car theft crime ring. Spent the past two years tracking the suspects to build a lock solid case. That actually is a great thing. Car thieves may think twice now in SF knowing that cars have been placed around the city for tracking for 2 years. They tracked all the electronics in the cars as well.

Califorinia’s crime rates are lower than most of the rest of the country. We could indeed be doing more, like building more rehab centers, mental health clinics, and establishing guaranteed basic income. But, I understand, investing in solutions does sound pretty left-wing Socialist.

Is it 3 strikes and your out? What does out mean these days? The Chinese have “education” or re-education camps. Maybe we should investigate that method of dealing with this type of behavior.

In California, 3 strikes must include a violent felony from what I understood. This state is too easy on criminals!! It’s called having too many Liberals and not enough death row inmates being put to death instead of being released to gen pop! Vote for those that will fix the problem not make it worse!

What more violent felony is there than dealing drugs and killing people sure you’re not holding a gun. But murder by other methods is entirely possible. ❤

No one is forcing someone to buy drugs and take them. If anything, the drug user should be prosecuted in memoriam for suicide.

Rape. Assault with a deadly weapon. Shoplifting while in possession of a knife. Attacking Dave Chapelle with a gun/knife in your pocket. A bar fight. Etc.

3 arrests and charges is not 3 felony convictions.

Please check yourself into a Chinese “education” camp if you think that’s the solution.

Funny funny. I’ve noticed the absence of cash in evidence thing repeatedly in recent drug busts. You would think at least a token amount would make it into logged evidence.

Given the facts of this story and many others like it throughout California, at a practical level, it all is legal. So called law enforcement is often impotent excepting when they choose to shoot people.

Ok. So you’re happy to carry a charge sheet as long as hers? Since all of those charges represent “legal” actions in your world? If so, I hope you aren’t my hum doc.

Regarding this Lockwood character: has she ever gone to trial on any of these charges? (Re: “charges not convictions”) If not, why? Is this the fault of the D.A.’s office? It seems like the HCDTF Agents are getting fed up, requesting a bail increase and all. Humboldt has a Dep. D.A. running for Sup. Court Judge – I don’t trust him. There’s also a D.A. position open. Let’s get this legal system on track for some tough accountability.
