[UPDATE 4:09 p.m.] Traffic Snarled After Crash in McKinleyville
Two vehicles collided at Central Avenue and Anna Sparks Way in McKinleyville about 1:45 p.m. Traffic is backing up along Central and some of the side streets on either side of the crash.
According to a report on the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, both vehicles are “likely totaled.”
An ambulance is responding to the scene.

UPDATE 2:26 p.m.: The CHP is reporting this is a no injury accident.
UPDATE 4:09 p.m.: Traffic is moving normally.

“Traffic snarled”…..? There were reports that some motorists were delayed between 1 and 3 minutes getting to their destinations. Fortunately, they had all planned ahead and there were no injuries or deaths associated with the lengthy delay.
WTH does some sketchy, alcoholic politician with a murky memory and manky morals have to do with a traffic collision happening in the ‘metropolis’ of McK?.

The traffic has to merge into one lane, both drivers think they are entitled. A game of chicken.
The problem is so many peopme use the turn lane to go up the hill as a passing lane. I’ve seen so many almost accidents there.
