Frank Edwards

Beloved southern Humboldt community member Frank Edwards passed peacefully in his sleep on the 8th of February 2022.

Frank moved to So Hum over 30 years ago. He worked at Singing Trees Recovery Center for many years with great diligence contributing in multiple ways. He was an integral member of their team and the gourmet chef at the facility. His hard work and dedication were admirable.

A gentle soul, Frank dearly loved the redwoods and was a pillar in the recovery community. His participation within the recovery circle was his most important priority. He helped scores of people in need for well over three decades, always willing to listen and provide words of wisdom and comfort. He gave so much of himself and was an honorable man with great integrity.

Frank had many interests including music, reading, photography and star gazing. From the beaches to the redwoods, he loved walking with his friends enjoying thoughtful conversations and sharing happy memories of Keiko and Andreas.

More recently he had been working for many years at the Shopsmart deli in Redway. Frank had countless friends that spanned the globe and will be deeply missed by everyone.

We will miss seeing his beautiful smile and hearing his contagious laugh yet we are so very grateful for having known him and we know his spirit is with us and will live on forever… “One Day at a Time”

A celebration of Franks life will be held in the coming months and will be announced.

Never have I seem a more admirable summing up in one sentence than “He gave so much of himself and was an honorable man with great integrity.”

I would have to agree with you, I always felt Frank was an evolved soul. And no matter what I was going through on any particular day, I always felt better after seeing him. He was consistently loving & peaceful.

Work of the divine indeed.
Divine Intelligence surpasses Artificial Intelligence. The computer engineers will always lust after the unexplainable with ocd like wanton fury.
