MABEL

Is a sweet and shy girl who will need some continued confidence building. She’s a little unsure of quick movements so going slow with her at first would be best. She’s a nice gentle girl who loves to check things out and once that mission is done, she will come over and get aquainted with you. She’s keen on playing ball. Since she is a little unsure of things, a more reserved companion dog may be her speed, but she does seem to be selective of her companions. When introduced to kitties, she seemed like she “may” be ok with them. Only true way to tell is if they are home together. Mabel currently weighs in at 54lbs.

Lead-eyed pit of sketchy lineage, probably won’t kill your neighbors cat, but definitely may/might/ will bite your three year old child’s face resulting in untold thousands of dollars in reconstructive surgery bills, but it is really sweet and needs a good home. The poor thing is just understood, get it?

Have to agree. Looks shut down and distrustful. Described as shy = fearful. I wouldn’t let that unknown dog around small children either, personally. Looks like it needs more assessment. Unknown how it will act when it’s no longer shut down, but the reaction with fast movements would have me worried.

What a beautiful lady she is! I see a lot of intelligence in those eyes, she’ll be great in the right home.
