Israel Vibration with the Roots Radics Performing at the Mateel on March 17th

Mateel Community Center presents from Jamaica the legendary Israel Vibration with the Roots Radics, Thursday March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day. The doors are at 8pm.  The event is all ages, food and drink will be served.  Tickets available at local outlets Tickets are $28 in advance and $30 at the door.

They have already had polio and were raised in a Jamaican orphanage for polio victims. I think COVID is like a mosquito bite to these guys. BTW, excellent reggae artists, some of the best.

Just when I thought the Mateel couldn’t appropriate any more culture than they all ready have… let’s have a Reggae show on St Patricks Day! Any excuse to get messed up I guess.

Maybe they’ll build a fake shanty town occupied by a leprechaun.

By your logic, Israel Vibration can’t perform in Europe or in the United States, because any venue that wants hires them is “appropriating their culture”. Does that make any sense to you?

In hoping Don Carlos will come to town this year, I grew his namesake strain this last season and it is staaaaanky. I wanna hook him up with a completely destemmed top kola and a hogs leg slathered in oil with a cold water snake in the grass.
