Mad River Community Hospital Welcomes Its First Baby of the New Year
It is with great pride that Mad River Community Hospital’s (MRCH) Birth Center welcomes its first baby born of the 2022 New Year into its facility and into our Community. While every family and birth is unique and special, we at MRCH mark this changing of the calendar year milestone by welcoming the first baby of the New Year with a little something extra.
Congratulations to Irie Kimbrough and Keith Elfstrom on the birth of their son, Ollie Kimbrough- Elfstrom, on January 1st, 2022 at 9:15 pm weighing in at 9 pounds and .5 ounces and 20 ¾ inches long.
MRCH Staff, the Community Health Advisory Board members, and community members took this opportunity to donate gifts to welcome the First Baby born in the New Year. Baby Shower gifts, supplies and handmade items were presented as a token of esteem in celebration to the Kimbrough-Elfstrom family.

My son was the first baby born there in 1990. He was born at 1:50 am on January 2nd. Mad River gave us lots of gifts for him.
It’s a sweet tradition.
I was famous for the first few minutes, I arrived in Yuma AR at 12:09 in 1959. I’m happy the tradition continues.
Congratulations, We are very Happy for You.
He is the most beautiful Baby.
Sending our love from Spain.
A good reason for all to do the best we can to make the world a great place to grow up in.
