Press release from North Coast Co-op:

North Coast Co-op announces the 2022 Seeds for Change Round-up recipients.

Seeds for Change is a community giving opportunity that allows Co-op members and customers to round up their Co-op purchases to the nearest dollar with those extra cents given directly to local organizations working to better our community. Each month, a different member-selected recipient receives the round-ups collected in the store that month. It’s a simple but powerful way for the Co-op to engage its members and shoppers in fulfilling the international cooperative principle of caring for the community. Over $105,000 have been donated already in 2021.

36 nonprofit organizations qualified for the Seeds for Change program in 2022. The Co-op reserves three months for Food For People, The Co-op Pumpkin Patch, and the Twin Pines Community Foundation. Co-op members choose the remaining nine by voting for their favorite groups in October/November. Over 850 members voted, and the exciting results are below.
