Is there going to be an APB put out for this dog for leaving the scene after a bit and run?

I hope everyone knows that a homeless street person could have
their 2 pit bulls rip your neck out and you will never receive one dime from them. There should be a Ca. Law that would require all pet owners to have
Liability insurance or surrender it on the spot.

The bite victim most of the time, will loses all around .

Great idea. More regulation to make working joe pay more money while the criminal element doesn’t give two shits about the law and will not comply. In the mean time some kid looses their pet because insurance lapsed and tweekers keep their dogs that never did or never will carry your insurance and keeps their dog. Since you said pet owners how about hampsters? How many people do they kill every year? Cats?

The ones that don’t comply will have their pets removed and sold to researchers. Cats should be trapped or shot if found off owners property.

If some low life has a vicious pet and is staying in a rental, you should “legally contact” the owner to inform them that they will be held accountable if the pet should injure someone. You can bet your ass the landlord will do something. Landlord/owners always try to say that they were unaware as a BS legal defense. If they are aware they are now on the hook.

“Researchers” by and large don’t want random dogs of unknown parentage – they want dogs with specific, well-documented genetics so they don’t end up with skewed results from a dog’s medical condition that it was born with. They *certainly* don’t want poorly-trained, poorly-socialized, aggressive or potentially aggressive dogs that will be dangerous for them to handle in the course of their research.

All this is why 99% of research projects use friendly, medium-sized beagles that were specifically bred for research purposes.

As for the rest of your post…seek therapy.

Lets do that right after we require gun owners to have insurance. Both are good ideas.

The state can’t even get all vehicle drivers to carry insurance, so, good luck with pets.

That insurance would be through the roof (a hot tin roof at that) for cat owners, since cats kill more birds a year than windmills do.

Let me guess…another pitbull attack? It is not the dogs fault they are bred that way and they are doing what they were bred to do. But we as a human are smarter then that and we need to own up to the fact we created a monster breed of dog, that was our bad, but this breed is dangerous and need to go away. Our start being bred differently, so they same shit that was happening in the 80s with crank dealers and their pitbulls still isn’t going on what..30?? Holy shit I’m old!! Years later. But that’s just like my opinion man

The thing most biter dogs have in common isn’t breed, it’s being un-neutered/un-spayed. Part of it is the hormones, part of it is that irresponsible owners who don’t get their pets fixed also don’t train or socialize their dogs and allow or encourage them to develop behavior problems.

One of the things in common is an intact male but another, in fatal or serious injury, is pitbull. A chihuahua is bitey but hardly ever sends anyone to the hospital. Whether pitbulls are, like giant trucks, a compensation, who knows. But some are certainly raised to be weapons.

I saw a chihuahua kill a rottweiler once. The chihuahua got lodged in the throat and the rottweiler choked to death.

I don’t use the word “hate” much. I reserve it for really very bad stuff- like Hitler and kimchi. I HATE people who do that to pit bulls. The breed is especially sensitive and eager to please. They must break these dogs down to turn them into the monsters they become. I know many sweet pitties and their most dangerous parts are their swinging tails and their wet tongues… I’m in favor of putting down dog fighters

Silly. Dog behavior has more to do with the owners than the breed. You all are obsessed with the pit bull concept. The breeds with the highest TOTAL bites are the most common ones. Pit bulls now, but when German Shepards were popular they bit more people(the only breed that has ever bit me).
Chows have the highest bite rate PER ANIMAL.
True though, that most people, and their situations are not right for dog ownership.

It’s the owners not the dog breed…pitbulls are the sweetest, loving snuggle bugs when raised and treated right

She must have done some thing to provoke it. They are normally very docile creatures. I let my 2 year old play too gether all the time with out a worry. it is people being aggressive that is most likely to cause an gesture. Remember we our all gods creatures and what you learnt in kindergarden.

A lot of God’s creatures have no excuse for the bad things they do. And most people don’t stop their learning in kindergarten.

“She must have done some thing to provoke it.”

Yeah, maybe she walked past it. If the dog was staying at the motel with it’s human, then it had set up it’s territory which was not limited to the rooms four walls. Just walking past the dog’s room through the outer hallway would be an invasion of territory. If this dog, regardless of breed, and it’s human are traveling, then anyone it sees, male or female, child or senior, is a potential threat. If this motel is one like the old Blue Heron on Broadway, now KFC, then anyone it sees is a potential threat.

All this talk about killing animals it’s not the animal’s fault it’s the owner’s fault Animals are not vicious unless taught to be What we need to do is find them good homes

That’s a delusion. Most animals are not interested in humans but, when they are, some of them are just as much a dangerous as as any human.

It’s unfortunate that these Dogs are Dogs and do what Dogs do, they will be put down for it. If they had simply chosen a two-legged body when they were being born, they’d be getting a slap on the wrist and released on their own recocognisance. All that said, if I get the chance to chose my body next time around, I choose Dog.

Motel dog probably skewered territory issues. Sad.
