Covelo Ranger Station Closes to Public on Dec. 2

The Covelo Ranger Station closes to the public effective Thursday, Dec. 2 until further notice. Phone calls to the Covelo Ranger Station will be transferred to the Upper Lake Ranger Station.

Christmas tree permits can still be purchased in-person at the Supervisor’s Office in Willows or the Upper Lake Ranger Station. Mail-in forms can be sent to the Supervisor’s Office. Mail-in permit requests received after December 14 will not be filled. In addition to the Willows and Upper Lake forest offices, four vendors are also selling Christmas tree permits:

We went up to Snow Basin last Saturday
and cut ours. Not very many trees and no snow,, but still a ton of fun!
