PIPPI Longstocking Comes to Town

Press release from Main Stage:

Pippi Longstocking, the high-spirited heroine who has inspired generations around the world, is now making her Humboldt debut this weekend.

Award-winning Swedish author, Astrid Lindgren’s story of Pippi Longstocking is about every child’s (and grown up’s) dream of freedom and power. The daughter of a pirate sailing the South Seas, Pippi lives in Villa Villekula with her horse and her pet monkey. In the house next door, live Tommy and Annika, and since Pippi moved in, life became a lot more fun!

We are partnering with Food for People! Bring food for those in need this holiday season!

The performances are held at the Arkley Center for Performing Arts. Show dates and times:

11/26 @ 7pm
11/27 @ 2pm
11/27 @ 7pm
11/28 @ 2 pm

Anything that brings attention to the plight of homeless children living in hollow tree trunks is a very good thing, IMO.
