Rotary Club of Eureka Donates Over 100 Turkeys to Eureka Rescue Mission
Press release from the Rotary Club of Eureka:
For the sixth consecutive year, the Rotary Club of Eureka contributed 100+ turkeys to Eureka Rescue Mission for their holiday meals. The money was raised by donations from club members. According to Past President, Mindy Sehon, who organized the drive, the turkeys will be used to feed the homeless and hungry at Thanksgiving and will be included in holiday food boxes to the needy this Christmas season.
The Rotary Club of Eureka was established in 1923. It is the oldest and largest club in the area. The Rotary Club meets Mondays at noon at the Elks Lodge for fellowship, lunch and an informative presentation from a guest speaker. More information can be found on their web site: www.rotary1.org and on their facebook page: facebook.com/rotaryclubofeureka.
