It is a common enough man’s name in India, where his family is from and where Prav was born. I don’t know what happened, but he is no thug, he is a good man, a caring husband and a very loving and adoring father to his little girl. I am not excusing his violence, I’m appalled, but I also know his little family has suffered greatly as a result of the lockdown. This shocking event is so out of character I think he must be in some kind of awful mental distress, and genuinely needs help, which I pray he will receive. Just so heartbreaking, sending prayers for everyone concerned.

Great comment. Sometimes good people do bad things. Domestic violence should be of great concern to all of us as it is a pretty reliable indicator of abuse and future violence towards more than just domestic partners. I have zero sympathy for guys violent towards women or children as I’ve seen it become patterns that keep growing through generations…disgusting dark and painful. I hope your comment is true and that this man seeks to correct his behavior and mental state. I hope that he is the good man you speak of. There may be times when women drive us crazy and mad but we should be stronger and never physically hurt them.

I’ve literally had to run from women. It doesn’t look to manly but the thought of hitting a woman has only crossed my mind. Better off getting out of there. Even if it’s your home.

No excuse for DV. Been down that road and it only accelerates from there. Rarely someone says it wont happen again and sticks to their word.
I hope things work out for this couple..get help or whatever. The stress of this pandemic is unbelievable. We have to find a way to cope without hurting others. (Let’s not forget women can be abusive too)
