When the bridge is out, that really puts folks living on the other side in a tough spot. Their road out many times in the winter cannot be used due to slides, high creeks, etc., it brings them out close to Shively, and then they have to hope the Shively road is passable. It also has slides, trees down, etc., closing it at times, but the county does their best to keep it open.

I Love it when the summer bridge gets removed! Cuts down the speeding traffic on the flat, big time !!!!

I assume you live on the Holmes Flat side of the river. Do you know who does the speeding?
