[UPDATE: Captured] Fortuna Police Ask Public’s Help Capturing Suspects in an Armed Robbery
Fortuna Police have posted photos of two people they believe to be the couple that robbed the Subway in Fortuna on October 18.
“We have obtained photos taken from video surveillance of a nearby business, which contains images of the robbery suspects,” Fortuna Police posted on their Facebook page. “We are asking for the publics help in identifying or locating these suspects.”
They state, “The investigation remains ongoing and again anyone with information please contact the Fortuna Police Department at (707)725-7550.”
UPDATE: According to the Fortuna Police,
On 10/20/2021 at approximately 6:48 PM the Fortuna Police Department received information that subjects fitting the suspect’s descriptions were observed Southbound Highway 101 just South of Kenmar Road in Fortuna. Fortuna Officers responded, located and detained the subjects. Officers and Fortuna Detective investigated and both subjects were identified and arrested.
Colin Eugene Rinehimer, age 31 of Pennsylvania was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on the charge of 211 PC, Robbery.
Jessica Alicia Thomas, age 30 of Pennsylvania was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on the charges of 211 PC, Robbery and 664/245(a)(1) PC, attempted assault with a deadly weapon (knife).

They were definitely homeless for a while actually I’m surprised they lasted this long. They dropped off the face of the earth so I typed their names to find this article. Lol and they wanted me to go out there with them thank God I went with my gut.

They paid for their things with Subway money. 50% honest. Half and half ain’t a bad thing. Send them home and save California taxpayers the money to process them here.
Like people never get off a bus at the first stop. And the police departments that arrest them wherever they land won’t be pissed about Humboldt Co doing that. And like those “bus tickets” solutions from other places are not how not some criminals arrived here in the first place.
