[UPDATE 10:22 a.m.] Ambulance Responding for a Possibly Injured Toddler After a Crash at Big Lagoon
Two pickups collided on Hwy 101 near Big Lagoon about 10:20 a.m. and blocked the southbound lane, according to the first information coming from the scene through the Emergency Call Center.
Reportedly, the crash injured a one-year-old child. The Call Center dispatched an ambulance Code 3 (with lights and siren) to the scene.
Caltrans QuickMap shows that as Big Lagoon narrows to the north, traffic is slowing in both directions.
