1 Death, 1 Hospitalization, 23 New Cases Reported Today

COVID DEATHPress release from Humboldt County Public Health:

Humboldt County Public Health reported today the death of a resident age 80 or older from COVID-19. Staff in the Department Operations Center extend their condolences to the person’s family, friends and caregivers.

The hospitalization of a resident in their 60s was also reported, as well as 23 new cases of COVID-19, bringing to 9,136 the total number of residents who have tested positive for the virus in the county.

Residents, particularly those who are unvaccinated, are advised to get tested if they are experiencing symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for the virus. Testing is available through OptumServe seven days a week at the Wharfinger Building in Eureka and at mobile sites throughout the county most weekdays. For more information about testing, go to humboldtgov.org/covidtestregistration.

With the increasing availability of at-home tests for COVID-19, Humboldt County Public Health recommends residents to report positive test results so that transmission of the virus in the community can be better identified and people can be connected with needed resources.

Those with a positive at-home test for COVID-19 should isolate and notify their close contacts to limit the spread of disease. Positive at-home test results should be reported to a health care provider or to Public Health if there is no provider.

Individuals who require documentation of test results for employment or travel may get PCR testing through Public Health or their health care providers. PCR follow-up testing for an at-home rapid test is most accurate 24 to 48 hours after an initial at-home positive test. For more information, visit the Humboldt County Home-Testing FAQ, or call the Joint Information Center at 707-441-5000.

Public Health will offer PCR testing at the Fortuna River Lodge site on Friday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. Pre-registration is required. To sign up, visit the Color test registration page.

In a White House press briefing today, officials discussed a plan to “ensure that vaccines for kids ages 5 through 11 are available, easy and convenient.” The plan includes administering vaccines through trusted providers such as pediatricians, family doctors, primary care providers and rural health centers.

Pediatric doses of the vaccine are expected to be 10 micrograms, a third of the size of the dose authorized for those ages 12 and older, and administered using smaller needles, according to Pfizer’s recent application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for emergency use authorization.

The county’s vaccination and testing services are available free of charge. Residents who receive their first or second dose of vaccine at a Public Health office in Eureka, Willow Creek or Garberville can choose a $25 Renner Petroleum or Coming Attractions Theatres gift card. Incentives are offered on a first-come, first-served basis at those locations only.

Appointments for Public Health vaccination clinics are not required but are recommended due to an increase in demand for additional doses and boosters. Sign up in advance at MyTurn.ca.gov. For instructions in English and Spanish on how to use My Turn, go to humboldtgov.org/VaccineInfo.

https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2021/10/20/1047727415/what-to-know-about-the-risk-of-serious-or-fatal-breakthrough-covid-infections So how well do the vaccines work? How serious is the risk of a serious breakthrough infection, one that could land you in the hospital? Really good graph in article showing vaxed deaths versus unvaxed note: graph is a random sample

There was a graph posted here several days ago. It really shows the difference between folks vaccinated, as opposed to those who are not. The folks that have had there shots is way low on the chart and pretty much a flat line. Shown in BLUE. The unvaccinated folks on the other hand shown in RED go almost to the top of the chart. If that does not convince you to get your shots – well good luck!!

MIAMI—Promising to remain current on any recommendations that might gain traction on social media or receive a platform on right-wing news outlets, officials at Miami’s Centner Academy stated Tuesday that they always revised their Covid guidelines to reflect the latest misinformation. “Rest assured, before we decide whether to permit students and faculty to wear masks or receive a vaccine, we follow dozens of links to random online forums and read plenty of tweets from people who have absolutely no background in immunology,” said Leila Centner, CEO and co-founder of the private school, noting that administrators were in the process of implementing a new program of contract-tracing to keep track of students who may have been in close physical proximity to a vaccinated person. “Since the beginning of this pandemic, Centner’s Covid policies have been shaped with input from many sources, including disgraced and unaccredited physicians, this nurse in New Hampshire who has a pretty good following on Instagram, debunked theories I’ve heard about at parties, my aunt in Denver who’s always reading stuff, and really just whatever rises to the top of my Facebook feed at any given moment. Going forward, our protocols will continue to change to reflect up-to-the-minute hearsay about how this virus spreads and how it should be treated.” At press time, reports confirmed Centner had again updated its policy to require students to stay at home for 30 days after driving by any CVS location that administers the Covid vaccine. “The Onion

It’s still killing and hospitalizing our community members. Adults, please get vaccinated. But Biden’s plan to vaccinate 5 yo doesn’t seem to be supported by science.

A flicker of light…

The 2 to 5 yr olds are next, mlr.

The trials for them are with a 1/10th adult dose x2.

5 to 11 year olds will be getting a 1/3rd adult dose x2.

The trials will be exceedingly hastened, and rubber stamped.

Me getting vaxxed is one thing, mlr.

But, I’m pushing 60, not pushing 6.

Authorizing Moderna boosters, or third doses, before the initial doses are fully approved doesn’t make much sense, either.

Authorizing mixing and matching sounds pretty funky, too.

Coincidentally, as I am writing this, 4 days after my second dose, the slight stabbing intermittent heart discomfort has returned, right about the same time frame after the first dose… Oh boy…

You did see that areas with higher vaccination rates are experiencing increased, not decreased cases?

Go figure.

Hopefully you don’t think cardiology is a government conspiracy. Go get checked. Almost no chance it is related to vaccination. Most likely placebo effect but still get checked.

“The sole reliance on vaccination as a primary strategy to mitigate Covid19 and it’s adverse consequences needs to be re-examined especially considering the Delta (B.1. 617.2) variant and the likelihood of future variants. Other non-pharmalogical interventions may need to be put in place alongside increasing vaccination rates. Such course correction, especially with regards to the policy narrative becomes paramount with emerging scientific evidence on real world effectiveness of the vaccines.”
“For instance, in a report released from the Ministry of Health in Israel, the effectiveness of 2 doses of the BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNtech Vaccine) against preventing COVID19 infection was reported to be 39%[6], substantially lower than the trial efficacy of 96%[7]…” etc., etc.

“In summary,
even as efforts should be made to encourage populations to get vaccinated it should be done so with humility and respect. Stigmatizing populations can do more harm than good.”

I am taking precautions against incurring death, chronic illness, medical expenses and life disruptions. And maybe not infecting my neighbors and friends.

Masking *does* work. Wearing masks with your nose sticking out does not accomplish the desired result…how many actually wear them correctly? Covid hangs in the air (current speculation) for at least 2 hours…even after persons leave the room.

And 6 ft. is not enough…more like 20.

I do not want to get or pass this on. Let ‘er rip is nothing short of barbaric. My brother died alone after being discharged from hospital…

Pinning all hopes on a vaccine that isn’t sterilizing is dumb. Discouraging treatment is really dumb. Immunity wanes rather quickly as does ‘natural’ immunity. A moving target eh?

We should be eradicating…meanwhile, we’ve got more varients on the horizon. Letting this virus get out of control only encourages more deadly variants…

Once you achieve an indisputable majority of vaxmeat you will find a majority of vaxxers get ill/die.

Cases will continue to increase.

Blame the sane for your variants.

Here’s the NIH myocarditis report that was taken down.

https://files.catbox.moe/4brdxu.pdf

Not a stealth move. They just took it down and didn’t indicate why.
The original URL for it is.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8483988/

I read the abstract, and it is like they went through a lot of trouble to conclude what almost anyone hearing about the covid shots and children; the shots cause myocarditis! (but I guess they had to formally prove it 🙂 )

Hey KYM, does it “make you pause” that the NIH removed a peer reviewed article linking the shots to heart problems? Or do you still “trust the FDA” because they’re not the NIH?

Critical Peer-Reviewed Study on Myocarditis “Temporarily Removed” – UncoverDC

And incidentally, contrary to your claim, I FULLY acknowledge VAERS is not a controlled environment. That does not explain the MASSIVELY excessive incidences that you willfully pretend are meaningless.

1. They can suffer other effects.
2. There is no evidence of significant risk in vaccinating them.
3. It can help save others by reducing spread and variants.

Saying “theres no evidence of significant risks by vaccinating them” is misleading in its framing. It implies there’s is scientific backing to the implied claim you’re making. In fact, there’s no evidence because there’s no science. They could also suffer “other effects” from medications. Ever heard of accutane? Thalidomide? Celebrex? OxyContin? All safe according to “evidence” at the time. All padded drug pusher pockets. All caused untold misery.

Are Covid ‘Vaccines’ Giving People AIDS? Immune System Functions Are Dropping Around 5% EACH WEEK in Those Who Were Vaccinated

So…if this is true… one would tend to take retribution on health care workers that were Jab positive…correct? A human behavior pattern.

Being a devil’s advocate…. if the jab ends up being a population control mechanism…will not the people rise up and kill? Bodies in the streets?

What is their turns out to be reproductive failure …. and HIV later on?

A lab escape gone wrong.

They have scrubbed Dr. Fleming..which tells us… the Communist party USA…will have no part in scientific debate. The SARS-COV-2 Drug Vaccines | Dr. Richard Fleming

There is a pretty good possibility of civil war in the USA now…as violence is the only escape from Communism.

In the early 1950s, American leaders repeatedly told the public that they should be fearful of subversive Communist influence in their lives. Communists could be lurking anywhere, using their positions as school teachers, college professors, labor organizers, artists, or journalists to aid the program of world Communist domination. They have succeeded here, they now control our government. Let’s Go Karl Marx

That video says it is unavailable.

Did look up Dr. Richard Fleming, though. He lost his legal ability to practice by the FDA because of felony fraud convictions. Long before Covid showed up.

The Fleming Method was promoted by Dr. Richard M. Fleming, a convicted felon, tried in 2009 in Lincoln, Neb., where he pled guilty to both health care fraud and mail fraud. He, too, took his practice elsewhere. In 2018, the federal Food and Drug Administration debarred Fleming for 10 years from providing services to a person that has an approved or pending drug product application.

Hi!

Rollin, there are people who try to deceptively use multiple names for various reasons.

I find that those people generally respond to each other often, because their ideas are so far out there that without their own backup, it would look genuinely lone wolf crazy.

Me and Efox don’t interact much, so I think you’re missing some fundamental reasoning on WHY I would be Efox.

I’m not, by the way.

It’s ok to be curious and skeptical. I encourage you to do better detective work when making some repetitive accusations.

Found the “real” source of Covid-19. Zha Liyou, the Chinese consul general in Kolkata, India, tweeted a claim that Covid-19 could have been imported to China from the United States through a batch of Maine lobsters shipped to a seafood market in Wuhan in November 2019. It marks the latest in a series of theories that have been pushed by pro-China accounts since the start of the pandemic.
