Man Found Dead After Vehicle Rolled Off Road East of Garberville
This evening, emergency personnel rushed east on Alderpoint Road from the Garberville area after receiving a report of a man not moving since the vehicle he was in rolled off the Zenia Bluff Road (other reports place the crash off Zenia Lake Mountain Road). The vehicle is not visible from the road the reporting person told the emergency call center personnel.
An air ambulance and Southern Humboldt County Technical Rescue were requested to respond as were several fire departments.
Just as we were getting ready to post, the Incident Commander reported the occupant was deceased.

I’m just wondering if that was the crash site….?

May the Lord bless you and keep you.
Zenia bluff road goes to zenia from alderpoint… Zenia lake mt starts in Zenia and goes south to K
etten pom and Covelo
THis is exactly why they need updated road signs! Last night, it took them hours to get to my mother and father out there because my mother had always thought the area was called the zenia bluffs, when it was really zenia, lake mt. road. He might STILL be alive if their were proper road signs. Thank you for clearing this up.
There hasn’t been a sign at the junction of Zenia Bluff Road, and Hoaglin Road, (Peak Road), indicating what either road is called, for many years, if not decades.
