[UPDATE 1:14 p.m.] Vehicle Rollover Reported on Hwy 1 Near Leggett
About 10:18 a.m., a vehicle went off Hwy 1 just west of the junction with Hwy 101 near Leggett.
According to first reports from the scene, the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled.
A Garberville ambulance has been called to assist the CHP and Leggett Fire Department at the accident scene.

That’s such a sketchy spot and is the start of The Gauntlet heading north. I hate driving through there. I’m totally clenched until I hit Benbow.
The Gauntlet for crashing or getting busted? The stretch of 101 from Geysers Road to South Cloverdale Blvd is known around Sonoma and Mendo as the Gauntlet for CHP (and Rohnert Park Public Safety-lol) to pull over folks who appear counter-culturish and steal their weed and money.
