Cutten Student Finalist in Toy Invention Contest
Brody Gaser, a 5th grade student at Cutten Elementary is one of just eight finalists for the Fat Brain Toys Kidventor contest. According to Jesse Wheeler, a school teacher from the Cutten School District, “If his invention is chosen, he will win a license agreement, and it will be produced by the toy company and sold worldwide.”
The winner will get $2,500 Scholarship, $500 in toys, a trip for two to the New York Toy Fair, as well as getting the licensing agreement.
According to Brody’s statement on the Kidventer webpage, “The AIR SCOOTER is a toy that can be used to practice tricks before doing them on your real scooter. It can also be used by a younger brother or sister so they can go along scootering, and not get hurt. Or it can be used by anyone, just for fun. My inspiration for this toy came from a camping trip with my grandpa. I saw the piece that he used to secure his sun umbrella in the ground. I started playing with it and realized it could be an AIR SCOOTER.”
C’mon…is that cool or what? Go vote for Brody here. https://www.fatbraintoys.com/kidventor.cfm

Brody is a marketing genius! Plus, pvc is awesome.
Wishing you the best of luck Brody! We love the fat brain toys in our home!
Excellent invention, Brody!
So…. I don’t mean to be a bummer here. But this has got to be a joke!
Let’s not lead this creative young man down the road of ridiculous invention…
but instead help him use his inventive spirit to actually create something meaningful!
Hey Body. The Universe needs you. Continue listening to your voice, and don’t listen to negative comments. You are a winner! Carry on.
There are far dumber toys out there that are created by adults. If he wins, it will most certainly ignite his inventive, creative spirit. If he doesn’t win, well, Brody, it’s a big contest and they can only pick one. It doesn’t mean you don’t have what it takes. Keep going. Keep inventing. Look at Nicola Tesla, a lot of failures, but, A LOT of good inventions also, alternating current (AC) for one. Others that we are just now beginning to understand, like wireless electricity, think of a wireless phone charger.
Keep using your Air Scooter. Make some for a couple buddies. Maybe try selling some to the local skate shops.
By the way, Brody was my grampa’s nickname. So, you know, that’s a plus in my book.
