Trinity County Announces 13th COVID Death

Trinity County DashboardToday, the Trinity County Public Health Branch (TCPHB) announced the death of the 13th person to die in a COVID-19 related death.

They posted on Facebook, “The Trinity County Public Health Branch (TCPHB) received confirmation today of a COVID-19 related death of one of our unvaccinated residents in their 70’s. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. No other information will be publicly released by TCPHB.”

Trinity County, with roughly a population of 12,700, currently has 49 active cases of COVID and 11 people currently hospitalized (which includes those in surrounding counties).

693 recovered cases is good news, although long Covid19 has been reported in people months after initial recovery.

There is a lot more recovered cases than that. Most people don’t get tested

Lots of people have tested positive with the home kits as well never making it into the stats.
