Stanley Bones

Stanley “The Man”Bones passed away September 10th 2021 Surrounded by his best friends (you cant own a cat only befriend one). after a year and a half battle with cancer when he only had a life expectancy Of three months. He was born in Alderpoint ca and moved to rio dell ca for 11 years of his life and finally moved to fortuna where he became exclusively indoors and ridiculously spoiled buy his chosen people.

In his youth he was best known for being the Fiery ginger and chasing any stray cat off “his turf” or just having a howling match with his rival Anakin Eldridge The other orange cat on the block who lived with our neighbors.

He was also notoriously known for attacking an Internet installer to the point of it becoming an urban legend within the company.(no one was seriously injured in this incident)

When he wasn’t defending his turf he was spending his time with his people and his dogs who he loved more than anything else in the world except cheap wet cat food.

When someone else in the home was hurting he gave his all to help them get well including his dog Rielly after an acl replacement or Kado’s bout with cancer Stanley never left there side and was constantly grooming them in his way to help.

When one of his humans were sick or feeling down he made sure in the vary least there lap was warm and they had company.

Stanley won the hearts of so many in his short 12 years with us and converted a number of cat hatters into crazy cat ladys and gents with his antics. He will be so missed by his people and friends.

Stanley is survived by his adoptive parents Jazz and Kyle, grandmother Joann (the giver of the gravy) brothers Luka, Duke sister Sarah and of corse his only cat friend he ever had Mr pickles who finally somehow won him over. He is Proceeded in death by his favorite 2 pit bulls Kado and Rielly.

Special thanks are to be given to the staff of Riverwalk veterinary in fortuna for being so thorough with him throughout his entire life and all of his injuries and in helping get him and me through the last year and a half.
