Horrors. May the winds die down so they can get a handle on this.

We saw this fire as we were approaching Highway 20 this afternoon around 3:30, after having been delayed for over 2 hours by the (totally unrelated) accident on the north side of Ridgewood Summit. I feel lucky we got through here at the time. Huge plume of black smoke pouring off the hillside. Back home in Lake County we are having a RED sunset, and are anxious about spread of fire, and our friends in the Calpella area.
