5 Deaths, 10 Hospitalizations Reported Since Friday

COVID DEATHPress release from the County of Humboldt:

Five Humboldt County residents have died due to COVID-19, including three people in their 50s and two people over the age of 80. The staff of the Department Operations Center shares their sympathies with the family, friends and caregivers of those who died.

Ten county residents have been newly hospitalized since the most recent report Friday. The age ranges of those hospitalized are as follows:

  • One person in their 30s
  • One person in their 40s
  • Five people in their 60s
  • Three people in their 70s.

One hundred eighteen new cases of COVID-19 have been processed and confirmed since Friday. Around 125 additional cases have been reported to the state’s database and are awaiting local review. Cases continue to be reviewed as quickly as possible. Only confirmed case information will be added to the Humboldt County Data Dashboard and homepage counter each day. Currently, there is no estimated timeline for resolving recent delays in data reporting.

No-cost COVID-19 testing is available through OptumServe at the Wharfinger building in Eureka seven days a week and at a different location in the county each weekday, including in Garberville on Tuesdays. A drive-thru testing site is located outside Jerold Phelps Community Hospital at 733 Cedar St. To access the site, turn into the hospital driveway just past the hospital’s clinic entrance on Elm Street. Drive-thru hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-registration is recommended for all sites. To sign up and view a full schedule, go to lhi.care/covidtesting.

For those who test positive for COVID-19, some health care providers may offer monoclonal antibody infusion therapy as an emergency use treatment for people who do not have symptoms and are at high risk for severe outcomes (cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/treatments-for-severe-illness.html). Performed on an outpatient basis, monoclonal antibody infusion is administered through an IV and takes about two and a half hours. Local health officials point out that this labor-intensive treatment is not a substitute for getting vaccinated. While monoclonal antibodies are useful for treating someone who is already infected, COVID-19 vaccines train the body to ward off future infections and lessen the severity of breakthrough infections.

COVID-19 vaccines are available at Public Health clinics each day this week. Walk-ins are welcome, or appointments can be made in advance at MyTurn.ca.gov. For instructions in English or Spanish about how to use My Turn, go to humboldtgov.org/2872/Vaccine-Info.

Let me give you another example,
ENTN Health. August 21,2021.
‘ Dr. Fauci Said if We’d Need Boosters Every Year Indefinitely ‘
Quote: “I don’t think we can say that” said Dr. Fauci, “I doubt it very seriously. You know, I believe that the third boost of a 2 shot regimen, namely what we are recommending for those who’ve gotten the mRNA vaccine, we are noticing in clinical studies that the level of antibodies that that induces is very, very, high so what we are hoping for is that that third shot really gets you up to such a high level that not only is it highly protective but it’s very durable, that’s what we’re hoping for. We can’t guarantee. I doubt seriously but I don’t know for sure that we’re going to be able to say, we’re going to need boosts every X number of months. I don’t think that that’s going to be the case. I think this third shot will take us a long way.” End quote.

What exactly does that mean?
It’s pure gobbledegook. That’s what it is. It’s all horseshit. And he is our trusted spokesman? Please, one of you pro-vaxxers, interpret this Dr. Fauci rubbish. I dare you. I’ve already asked Kym to interpret this, and she has ignored it. Doesn’t anyone want to know how often they will need to get re jabbed? It’s every 5 months in Israel for Pfizer.
Seems like we are 3 months behind. Pfizer told Fauci it was booster time 3 months ago.
Is that why cases are skyrocketing in those three months?

Probably they are hopeful for an effective three shot series as with other stubborn viruses. Hep B vaccination for instance is in a three shot series, if memory serves. Obviously, this is a novel virus as in “new”. So, no one knows exactly how long immunity lasts or what will be needed. All they have are indicators and indications based on early results of what they think will happen. It’s Fauci’s thankless job to have to speak on the media’s hypotheticals and questions of what’s to come. Like any type of uncharted territory you can make an educated guess as to what it will look like, but you wont know 100% until you arrive there.

Are we gonna need boosters repeatedly, yes or no, and if so how often.
It’s “yes”, and every 5 months in Israel. Not every 8 months. Nor 9.
Why would it be any different here? Is Dr. Fauci power tripping?
It’s the exact same vaccine.
They aren’t struggling for an answer, at all, in Israel.

FogDog

They’ve recommended a third shot for those severely immunocompromised. A booster is being developed as a “third” shot to not only boost antibodies and immune memory to the virus, but also to taylor protection to the new variants in hopes of eliminating breakthrough infections because the original vaccines were developed for it’s ancestor.( now millions of times removed.) So, the answer is yes it is recommended at 8 months and they are hopeful that with an extra dose the immune system will retain stronger memory with more exposure to the vaccine. The other factor is vaccine being developed to combat specific variants of concern like Delta. So, yes the booster will be a different shot, not another one of the same unless you really need it right now. The same shot is being given in a third series (and in Israel) because a true “booster” is not available yet. How often a shot is recommended will be based on how well people’s immune systems continue to respond to it (no one knows) and how much the virus continues to mutate creating the need for more specific vaccine for different strains.

Pfizer was a three shot series all along. The third shot taken at least 28 days after the second shot. It just didn’t specify the maximum time after the second shot. It seems “28 days after” has been extended to include “Up to
9 months after”.

Oh, for Pete’s sake. If he said, “Everyone must absolutely get a booster, and one booster will give you 100% protection forever,” would that be more believeable? (Would you believe Fauci if he said, “Actually, to be honest, I think this whole vaccine thing is absolute crap. I recommend that you go home and drink a quart of bleach instead.”? And if so, why?) This quote, first of all, is exactly word for word, and this is the way people normally talk unless they’re reading a prepared statement off cue cards. But even more importantly, there’s no way for any honest person to state as absolute fact that any vaccine or medication is going to be as effective under everyday conditions as it is in trials. Trials result in projections of what is likely to happen under everyday conditions across a huge, random population. It’s tough, especially with life and death matters, but we all learn to live with uncertainty, accepting it as a fact of life. I believe Dr. Fauci is intelligent, well-informed,, and trustworthy, but I don’t think he’s God on the mountaintop any more than you or I.

Why didn’t he just say, “I don’t know”? And then be done.

I asked that it be interpreted for meaning, specifically.

It isn’t happening, because there is no meaning in his response.

His nonsense is only being justified.

And that is all it is, nonsense.

It’s a non-answer begetting more non-answers.

We deserve better.

One thing he is certainly not, is trustworthy.

what does it matter, seriously? the majority of American people have some sort of pre existing condition. It’s the shit insurance companies have been fighting against providing coverage for for decades. Smoker, Cancer, Asthma, Diabetes, Obesity. the list goes on. Every one has someone near and dear, most have many, who have at least one “pre existing condition.” I’m sure you do too. Hopefully they don’t get covid and die due to their pre-existing condition.

It’s more like scouring lives to see if they can be blamed for their illnesses. If they can, and almost no one is going to escape this assessment, then you will feel safe.

“The Bells of Hell go ting-a-ling-a-ling,
For you but not for me.
And the little devils have a sing-a-ling-a-ling,
For you but not for me.
Oh death where is they sting-a-ling-a-ling,

It’s not an attempt to blame anyone. It’s an attempt to find meaning and reason in numbers and headlines that are intentionally written to strike fear in viewers/readers. I agree that it’s awful each and every time a life is lost period. I just can’t see why we are so afraid to look into the actual situation of individual cases. We stand to gain a better understanding of the real world threat that covid may or may not pose to each and every one of us.

The CDC did a report on covid deaths reported during 2020. In the report they found co-occuring conditions in over 90% of deaths. I don’t know how they define their terms but there was mention of hypertension, diabetes, pneumonia etc. in over 90% of reported deaths.

Link:https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7014e2.htm

This disease seems to me like it was designed to save money on welfare and social security… just an observation.

You definitely have a point there.
It will definitely cut entitlements, but it doesn’t look like its going to end up saving the country from a massive deficit. It could have been designed to address the massive overcrowding problem in the world we have.

Thanks Guest. 5?, 1? 3? The breakthrough case rate is 18 per capita, 18% of 33 hospitalized would be 5 to 6 vaccinated? If they’d state the number of vaccinated in the hospital there would be no guessing. There is no reason they can’t state how many vaccinated are in the hospital.

I ask again, what was the health of the people prior to catching covid???

For some reason nobody is willing to look into the potential that the vast majority of covid deaths are people in terrible shape or people who are in their later years.

Is it wrong to ask what other ailments the people may or may not have had?
A guy on the cover of the north coast journal looked like he was 300lbs. and had a rough time with covid, is there a correlation? Maybe… maybe not, but why not look for answers?

There was an obituary for a guy that passed away with covid, he was already diagnosed with a terminal lung issue and only had 30% function of his lungs… He was counted as 1 of the 10 covid deaths.

I understand that these are just a few instances that I bring up but why not question the health of the 9 other deaths? Knowledge is power is it not? Why not try to find out if there’s a trend among the 10 deaths, poor health and pre existing conditions?

Can anyone tell me about a single covid death where the victim was in good shape and exercised regularly? I don’t mean what the average American looks like, I mean someone physically fit. How about the remaining 9?

Have you ever taken responsibility for ANYthing in your life? Sounds like you just want to blame someone, no matter what happens. You make yourself feel better by pretending there is some devious plan that only you can see!
Its staggering how many people seem incapable of making their own decisions. If you believe in science, get the vaccine. If you dont, then please at leasst distance yourself.

But quit being whiney babies that jump down the throats of those trying to save your lives!
Everyone is in the same boat, and Fauci et al are doing the best they can.

According to the CDC…
https://www.cdc.gov/obesity/data/adult.html

“From 1999 –2000 through 2017 –2018, US obesity prevalence increased from 30.5% to 42.4%. During the same time, the prevalence of severe obesity increased from 4.7% to 9.2%.”

The cdc claims that roughly 40% of the U.S. population is considered obese.

“Obesity-related conditions include heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer. These are among the leading causes of preventable, premature death.”

I don’t know how many of the covid deaths are people that fall in the approximately 40% obese category but I can assure you that if the data pointed to a direct correlation I’d do everything I could to make my way into the non obese category.

You touched on an important point, “responsibility.” I feel that we have a responsibility to bring the facts to light about exactly who is at the greatest risk of dieing from covid.

Why is the flu not reported?

Study what’s happening in Australia regarding covid.

Think it cant happen here?

There is a virus, it’s called communism– lock downs, papers/passports, travel restrictions, segregation.

Why no article on the above aspects of covid?

Why only the reporting of deceased who may have died of, or with, or from covid.

The rise in government control over the lives of people under the guise of COVID is absolutely terrifying and continues to spread worldwide. Businesses and the government have begun to enforce mandatory vaccinations and health passports in the hopes of creating a multi-tier society of those who are vaxxed and unvaxxed.

Meanwhile, businesses and the government are entirely ignoring natural immunity, which could be up to 13x more effective than vaccines.

You are locked down :

You are allowed outside of your home 1 hour per day for shopping/recreation;

you may not congregate in groups larger than 5 people;

you must wear a mask inside and outside your home;

you need a medical covid vaccine passport to travel by air, bus or rail;

You must show medical passport to access food stores and restaurants.

Lockdown Australia

Hard won freedoms that were clawed back from the tyrants of the past have been handed to the tyrants of the future without a whimper.

The Australia you thought you knew has been lost. Down under, the land where women glow and men thunder, is simply a line in a song. A nation once famed for its easy-going egalitarianism is now sprinting towards segregation and authoritarianism. A new feudal class has emerged and asserted dominance over Australian society and almost every check and balance designed to hold Australia’s democracy together has been bulldozed. The behavior of the Chinese Communist authorities toward pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong, condemned by governments across Australia, was replicated on the streets of Melbourne last week. At the time of writing, the cities of Sydney and Melbourne are under stricter curfews than either Kabul or Pyongyang.

Chris,

Please do research on these covid mandates/restrictions in the other countries I’ve mentioned.

I see there are people who feel insulated, and almost naive in their trust for government to do the right thing for the people they represent.

These people haven’t lived through tyrannical governments, that are the stories carried, by those individuals and families fleeing whatever shithole country to come to the land of the free.

Question, why do we discourage those who are fleeing Cuba, yet welcome just about everyone else?

We are experiencing asymmetric warfare on our minds, our bodies, and souls, and you might not even recognize it, because you have not sat down across from another human being who has shared his or her story of living under a communist government.

I’ve been to many eastern bloc countries and have listened to perspectives that you will rarely find , even if you wanted to hear, you probably don’t have any desire to listen to the darkness that happens in closed societies.

Maybe it’s our turn for that “struggle session”.

What would those people who have died in jail cells, or those who have been disappeared, tortured, etc, say about the kind of world they were fighting for..?

“To honor the dead , we must warn the living. ”

Communism didn’t die with Stalin,
Fascism didn’t die with Hitler.

The missing link to their success was a technological system that supported a top down control with a level of surveillance unmatched in history.

Just as we evolve, so do the minds of men, who are determined to use every advantage to maintain power, control, by consolidation.

This forced health crisis is a smoke screen, a tactic to divide our ability to come together for a common enemy.

Even the rural lifestyle is under threat , and soon they will make the case that it is irresponsible for people to live wild, because of some manufactured crisis.

Best of luck to all those who farm, raise livestock, and work to feed their families and community.

We need to help the next generation learn how to farm again. Small scale and sustainable.

Our future depends on it.

I also hope they don’t mean it literally. And I do mean my response quite literally.

That commenter has suggested that people shouldn’t be allowed out-of their house without proof of a single particular medical intervention. Now they are suggesting people be visibly marked against their will based on their medical history. That is an unnerving mindset.

I know that it is aligned with your views to some extent but surely you can recognize the danger in that thinking

Kym,
I guess I gotta be the one with the guts to ask that the,
” …black ‘X’ indelibly marked on their forehead…” comment gets removed, please.

It’s actually quite terrifying.

The scariest thing is that it’s being allowed. The guys a paying customer, though. The X on the forehead he is referring to, is a little too close to being a reference to making the unvaccinated a target, IMHO.
“X” is another word for bullseye.
A little too much like tattooing them as well, if that rings a bell.
I definitely recognize the danger in that thinking. Kym, do you?
A hundred bucks is a hundred bucks, though. Plus the guy obviously hates the unvaccinated.
VIP material. He can do no wrong.

If he would have said “a bullseye needs to be tattooed on “their” forehead, so we can keep “our” distance”, it would have been synonymous.

The accompanying use of “their” and “our” in this context is clearly divisive, and obviously discriminatory.

Something tells me that my comment won’t be so well received.

Kym,
I find his comment threatening.
And it’s actually very disturbing.

Just the thought that this commenter might be who I think it is, (he may or may not be), is enough to bring back nightmares.

It actually physically sickens me, and strikes terror in my soul.

Maybe you understand, maybe you don’t.

At least the intelligent can rebuke them when they post this crap, or not rebuke them and show who our communities really are.

Sounds about right. Direct insults must be pluralized. But I also understand that the line must be drawn, by Kym, somewhere, and some commenters goals, not yours,☕, seem to be to get as close to the line, or even to see how far they can lean over it before they get deleted. These commenters seem to never, or rarely, get moderated.
I know I’m not a favorite, but that’s ok, too. That’s not my goal.
I try to post comments like yours that are informational.
You’ve set the bar pretty high.

I never said I wanted to break the rules, I said I have a different opinion and had a bad day. If you’re going to ban me for having different opinions, well there’s nothing I can do about that.
In the many years I’ve posted here, I don’t believe I’ve hardly spoken to you, let alone create drama.
All the issues I’ve had with you have been since the Covid issue started and yes I’m starting to believe it’s personal on your end. Certainly not the way you responded to TRB and all of your time he took up is it, Is it because you really don’t like my positions, and a few people really do?

I figured out it was to AO and not “…the squirrel”, when Kym referred to the recipient as “she”, etc. I think I did see it for a second. Please don’t let certain commenters get under your skin, and understand it is the prime objective of certain commenters to get valuable and important content such as yours moderated or eliminated.

I’ve noticed the ankle biters focus on trying to bait me into getting moderated, and then once there, they try to bait me into getting banned. There must be something we are doing right, Even though we don’t agree on everything.

You’re right, I’m generally opposed to government intrusion in our personal choices but it’s different when those choices impact others. These are avoidable deaths if the unvaccinated weren’t spreading the disease. I’m wide open to measurable acquired immunity treated identically to vaccination record so I’m not even advocating mandatory vaccine.

All of our choices impact others. Your choice of diet and lifestyle may impact the cost and availability of emergency medical care. It may make you a higher risk of spreading any contagion because of the increased expulsion of aerosols in your heavy mouth breathing. Maybe we should give the government more control over that, after all many of our neighbors refuse to comply with the simple health advice offered by public agencies.

Your religious or political ideology impacts others. They lead you to make choices in action and in voting that may create policies that cause harm. In fact, I would argue that most real world political choices are choices between what level of harm to allow in pursuit of reducing some other form of harm. Perhaps those ideologies should be managed as well. Those with “harmful” ideogies should probably be marked and barred from public space where their misinformation might infect vulnerable minds.

We have an individual right to bodily autonomy. We do not have an individual right to never encounter disease. You do not suddenly and magically gain the right to determine another person’s medical decisions because you are concerned about getting sick

Will the vaccinated have a corresponding mark based on the brand of vaccine they were given?

Just read an article on Bloomberg that the Moderna vaccine creates twice as many antibodies as the Pfizer vaccine.

Are we going to have varying classes of the vaccinated?

J&J: Meh…

Pfizer: Ok! And has FDA approval!

Moderna: Only the best for the 1%! Coach, Givenchy and Gucci will start making vaccine card protectors just in time for the holiday soirées and Academy award season.

Heaven forbid people start mixing and matching different brands of vaccines! Will that be frowned upon?

Didn’t Dr. Seuss write about such things?

Kym,
Only one meme per article? or is it two? Seems like the first meme should have stayed if it’s only one.
It was more illustrative of the issue, in a way, unless you understand, and then the second becomes more relevant.

If I had my druthers it would have been the first that stayed.

If not, can anyone guess who this meme might represent?

Kym, per rule # 10, although not specifically banned on your site, I feel this “X” thing is hate speech. Just sayin’. Maybe it would have been seen differently if the suggestion had been that you receive the indelible black forehead “X”.

I thought maybe it was not allowed at all earlier, but in reviewing your rules, apparently it’s discretionary.

Hate speech is ok, but you don’t have to host it, but it depends. Got it.

The rules also state that it’s the second meme per article that gets deleted.

I guess that’s discretionary as well.

It’s the first one that should have stayed, as it had the most meaning.

I guess you didn’t like the first one.
Was it the “X” on the face thing that offended you?

Yeah, me too.

Oh, and the time stamp thing in the old format, that was better, the rest of the new format is mostly way better.

Just because you are young does not mean your healthy!

Sorry the young people today are in a new category of fat.

I was sitting next to two young people in their twenties. I was listening to their conversations about health problems. One couldn’t wipe her own ass because of her back and weight. The other was on several medications one being diabetes!!! This is very common all over America.

I’m not surprised that younger are people are dying more from civid considering they are finally coming out of lockdown.

I’m so glad I was exposed multiple times and I spread many variants around. Im immune to delta from doing so.. Now I’m healthier than ever my cardio and heavy lifts have greatly improved. Muscle mass increased and fat is at my younger 20s level. It’s wierd everyone I talk to is on the same page except on here.

New Intel Report on COVID-19: China Is Hiding Something

Anders Corr
August 30, 2021 Updated: August 30, 2021

An unclassified U.S. intelligence report summarized for the public on Aug. 27 makes clear that the first cases of COVID-19 were at least as early as Nov. 19, 2019, and that the first cluster of cases occurred at least by December 2019 in Wuhan.

The report makes clear that China is hiding information about the origins of COVID-19. But other scientific research from Harvard University indicates a possible origin as early as Aug. 1, 2019. President Joe Biden’s new intelligence summary does not address this important data.

In conjunction with Friday’s release of intelligence analysis, Biden denounced China for hiding the origins of the virus. But his administration does not go nearly far enough in pinpointing a potential August 2019 origin, assigning blame, and demanding reparations for at least $19 trillion owed globally, due to 6.9 million lost lives. This sum does not include additioamounts owed for economic damages, non-lethal suffering, medical costs, criminal penalties, and future damages.

I find the lack of memes on this issue here on redheaded black belt very interesting. They say a picture is worth 1000 words. There are almost zero pro vaxx memes, and about a million excellent anti vaxx memes. So it’s very easy to understand why there’s no memes anymore all of a sudden. I had a revelation yesterday talking with my neighbors, that if the vaxxers get sterilized or die in 5 years as some doctors have been warning, and in the meantime, the vaxxers become so infuriated and filled with venom against the unvaxxed that they kill us off in civil war, then the bankers at the top will have succeeded with their depopulation agenda without having to get their hands very dirty.

I recall Glenn Greenwald having a good reputation with Democracy Now, hardly a right leaning site. Let’s see what he says about the truthfulness of the Communist left politicians. Then please explain why we should trust them.

Ben Rhodes’ Book Proves Obama Officials’ Lies, and His Own, About Edward Snowden and RussiaIt is hard to overstate the sociopathy of US national security officials: their casual willingness to blatantly lie about the gravest matters is limitless.
https://greenwald.substack.com/p/ben-rhodes-book-proves-obama-officials?token=eyJ1c2VyX2lkIjoxOTg3NjQxLCJwb3N0X2lkIjo0MDcxODg5NSwiXyI6ImlOL2diIiwiaWF0IjoxNjMwNDQ1ODQ3LCJleHAiOjE2MzA0NDk0NDcsImlzcyI6InB1Yi0xMjg2NjIiLCJzdWIiOiJwb3N0LXJlYWN0aW9uIn0.DSvwW5H2fjBH0b-AVsj0EV_XS0vwNmlNHa7J6U-roek

Insecure? Excuse me, you didn’t link to it, you just said it and described the alleged video. My bad.

I’m not insecure at all. But I am doing my best to not say what I think desperately needs to be said about taking such charlatans as a valid news/information source.

As I said, if you were honestly seeking “the truth” you would find out just how corrupt Project Veritas/James O’Keefe really is.

Every source you link to or mention is unreliable (at best, some like PV are known for doctoring their videos) to the extreme. Yet you blindly take what they write/say as the gospel truth.

It reminds me of some folks who so fear the vaccine because it is untested yet jump on other certainly untested “medicines” like the dewormer or the fish tank cleaner or whatever the “cure” de jour is. And yes, I used silly terms for them, I just can’t take anyone who will believe them and the people pushing them seriously anymore.

A critically thinking person might wonder why such coercive measures are being used to inject an experimental gene therapy into our bodies for a relatively non-lethal virus with a 99.7% survival rate. Especially, when it is now beyond a doubt the jab doesn’t keep you from contracting the virus, spreading the virus, or dying from the virus.

The current all hands on deck
campaign to discredit ivermectin is a sign of desperation, as they have only been able to coerce and scare just over 50% of the population to have this Big Pharma concoction injected into their bodies. With cases peaking at 155,000 per day, the desperation of Fauci and his acolytes is visible for all to see.

That meme is representative of those that shrug off covid vs. those that succumb to it. Why is it the healthy guys responsibility to alter his life to protect lazy slobs that are unwilling to put out the effort to keep themselves fit.

Virtually all competitive bodybuilders are or have taken extremely dangerous drugs and followed dangerous bulking and cutting diets in the pursuit of a desired “look.” For years we’ve seen one after the next bodybuilder die early from heart complications as a result of drug use and dangerous diets.

Just because someone has a ton of muscles doesn’t mean they are healthy. Just like age isn’t necessarily an indication of health.

Both people in that meme are unhealthy. But it’s unlikely the fat person doesn’t realize they have a flawed obsession while the body builder has the delusion he doesn’t. There’s a name for both- for the woman, it’s a common insult. For the man (and those who don’t see the problem), it’s orthorexia.

The woman is unlikely to insist on the right to harm others because of her obsession, viewing it as a flaw, but apparently the man, beside being obsessed with his own body, has obsessed followers who are quite willing to do that and don’t see the problem with it. Imagine being so pleased with yourself you feel its just fine to spread disease to others. There’s a word for that too- narcissist.

As much as engaging with you leads to wasted time thank you for showing us who you are.

Orthoexia is a bullshit non-diagnosis coined by an MD in the late 90’s who hated how “clean diets” keep patients off of his billing roster.

Only in America would we define a commitment to clean eating as a disorder! And you think the (pretend) guy on the right has it. BwaHahahahah.

ortho,” meaning right; “
orexia,” meaning hunger;

“Right hunger.” We need more people stepping away from the backed-up drive thru line, into the produce aisles and tuning into what “right hunger ” looks like. We have digressed as a species, eating ourselves to death.

I agree that it’s unhealthy to cut weight like fitness models. The yoyo diets of bulking and cutting are extremely dangerous as well as the high percentage of performance enhancing drug use. Most things in excess are detrimental.

Define Healthy. .?

One person is a health risk under the life insurance guidelines.

I’m sure that ANY reasonable, health focused doctor would concur on which lifestyle would be considered for intervention.

Gosh, I guess I should rephrase that statement.

What I meant was, only one of the people in that meme is unhealthy, and that they are not, both, unhealthy.

In other words,
🤔🧐Both of people in that meme are not unhealthy, only one of them is unhealthy, and the other is healthy.

AO was trying to say that they were both somehow unhealthy.

I was disagreeing with her rebuttal.

Orthorexia?

That’s wack.

It’s gaslighting.

Dude is healthy. For real.

The lady has some co-morbidity issues. Looks pretty unhealthy to me.

I can see how what I said was not properly stated, and appeared to be not what I meant.

I think we are all confused.

In terms of looking for someone to reproduce with, the definition for MANY WOMEN, is reproductive health, aka fertility.

One of these people are a candidate for mating, the other is not.

Cheers

Which one should be hired as health director?

How many grossly overweight people can claim to have discipline, strength, or health intelligence?

There is a little chance that the overweight person can claim anything but administrative support for being a health director.

Not to mention her lifestyle is not going to have a place in the new environmental mandates for a minimal impact.

Can you imagine how she would feel around all the hungry populations of the world?

Excessive! ?

Where did you get the idea that exercise and healthy eating aren’t good for you? I remember you making a comment that those kind of positive lifestyle changes wouldn’t even help people long term. How on earth did you come to that conclusion?

The National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS)

RSV State Trends
« Back to Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Surveillance

Select a state:
Participating laboratories report weekly to CDC the total number or RSV tests performed that week, and the number of those tests that were positive. Because reporting delays may be expected for some laboratories, data shown for the most recent weeks, in particular the most recent two weeks, may be less complete than others. Each point on the trend graphs below displays the average number of RSV tests that were performed, and the average percent of those that were positive from three adjacent weeks: the specified week, and the weeks preceding and following it. This is also known as a centered 3-week moving average. The RSV detection graphs below display the 5 week moving average (average of the 4 previous and current weeks) in accordance with the recommendations for assessing RSV trends by detections

Horrible RSV outbreak right now. someone should ask how much room people with RSV are taking up in the hospital. Sounds like we are having two outbreaks at once.
RSV and COVID19. Are the unvaccinated getting blamed for the hospitals RSV unpreparedness?

Exactly what I was wondering. Glad you noticed too.
I wondered if the Covid tests pick it up also.
There is lots of info in the article, I haven’t finished rummaging through it yet.
Here is another article

RSV and COVID-19Because RSV and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are both types of respiratory viruses, some symptoms of RSV and COVID-19 can be similar. In children, COVID-19 often results in mild symptoms such as fever, runny nose and cough. For adults with COVID-19, symptoms may be more severe and may include trouble breathing.
Having RSV may lower immunity and increase the risk of getting COVID-19 — for kids and adults. And these infections may occur together, which can worsen the severity of COVID-19 illness.
If you have symptoms of a respiratory illness, your doctor may recommend testing for COVID-19.

Great awakening of the unwoke: The ruling class, including Canada’s Trudeau, is exposing its ugly self

By World Tribune on August 31, 2021

Analysis by Joe Schaeffer

As the little people throughout the Western world rise up to voice their anger in ever-greater numbers, the ruling regime is making the critical (but probably unavoidable at this point) error of exposing the inner workings of its control apparatus to full view. We are seeing this phenomenon most clearly with the media.

In Canada, our increasingly nightmarish neighbor to the north, an astonishing thing is happening in clear sight. Irate citizens are confronting a deeply divisive Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at outdoor campaign appearances, fueled largely, but not solely, by Trudeau’s stated intention of enacting a myriad of social punishments against those who do not want to receive the coronavirus vaccine.

BREAKING: In a major blow to vaccine efforts, senior FDA leaders stepping down
Zachary Brennan
Senior Editor
Marion Gruber

Two of the FDA’s most senior vaccine leaders are exiting from their positions, raising fresh questions about the Biden administration and the way that it’s sidelined the FDA.

Marion Gruber, director of the FDA’s Office of Vaccines Research & Review and 32-year veteran of the agency, will leave at the end of October, and OVRR deputy director Phil Krause, who’s been at FDA for more than a decade, will leave in November. The news, first reported by BioCentury, is a massive blow to confidence in the agency’s ability to regulate vaccines.

The bombshell announcement comes at a particularly crucial moment, as boosters and children’s shots are being weighed by the regulator. The departures also come as the administration has recently jumped ahead of the FDA’s reviews of booster shots, announcing that they might be available by the week of Sept. 20.

A former senior FDA leader told Endpoints that they’re departing because they’re frustrated that CDC and their ACIP committee are involved in decisions that they think should be up to the FDA. The former FDAer also said he’s heard they’re upset with CBER director Peter Marks for not insisting that those decisions should be kept inside FDA. What finally did it for them was the White House getting ahead of FDA on booster shots.

FDA’s former acting chief scientist Luciana Borio added on Twitter, “FDA is losing two giants who helped bring us many safe and effective vaccines over decades of public service.”

“These two are the leaders for Biologic (vaccine) review in the US. They have a great team, but these two are the true leaders of CBER. A huge global loss if they both leave,” Former BARDA director Rick Bright wrote, weighing in on the news. “Dr. Gruber is much more than the Director. She is a global leader. Visionary mastermind behind global clinical regulatory science for flu, Ebola, Mers, Zika, Sars-cov-2, many others.”
Phil Krause

In a letter from Marks to staff, he explained:

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Democratic lawmakers have dropped a controversial proposal to mandate vaccines in the state, a move that would have been challenging to pass in the final weeks of the legislative session and was already providing fodder for the upcoming recall election.
Assemblywoman Buffy Wicks (D-Oakland) said she will not pursue the proposal this year after drafts of her bill language were leaked last week, saying she needed more time to craft “the strongest bill possible.”
The draft language called for Californians to show proof that they are vaccinated to enter many indoor businesses and required both public and private sector workers to be fully vaccinated or regularly tested.

The proposal would have been amended into Assembly Bill 455, which Wicks said was needed to help improve vaccination rates at a time when the delta variant is spreading quickly in the state.
However, the mandate faced serious hurdles with less than two weeks remaining before lawmakers adjourn for the year on Sept. 10, including questions about how it would be enforced, the cost, and — for Democratic lawmakers — whether it would affect Gov. Gavin Newsom’s chances in the gubernatorial recall election on Sept. 14.

Remind me again how this is all about health and not politics.

It’s almost as if the more Israel vaccinates the more the virus spreads

Israel’s current 7-day average of Coronavirus deaths is almost double than the same date a year ago.

So a 0.05% chance of being hospitalized and a 0.01% chance of dying if you’re over the age of 30, increasing greatly after 50. Bet the vast majority of recent deaths were people who were obese and treated their body like a dumpster their entire lives. The average age of death for a covid death is still on par with the normal age of death without covid. But yeah, tell me how we should destroy our economy for a spicy cold and this is all because of “health” when I haven’t heard any “health official” talk about ANY health lifestyle changes that could have prevented their suffering and/or death. You played yourselves, people.

Here’s another article from today on this vexing vaccine subject that is really quite good. It’s mind boggling the way so many folks think that government and industry are their friends, and they have no interest in questioning authority. globalresearch.ca/science-ethics-regarding-risk-posed-non-vaccinated-individuals/5754616

Top FDA officials and scientist quit. Apparently concerned about the take over of the FDA by the CDC, the unapproved booster, and the call for injecting children. They don’t want anything to do with it.
