I’m nearby, it’s foggy up here but you can definitely smell smoke and hear the helicopter.
Sounds like someone is off roading and hot rodding some kind of a hoopdie
with a straight pipe, or just a hot exhaust, through the dry vegetation.
Could have been how the Table Bluff area Fire started, also.
Shouldn’t be too hard to find.
Crossed the river somewhere.
Must be a ford somewhere.
🤔😁
Actually the fire started between 3:47pm to 4:30 pm because my wife and I were in Ferndale on Grizzly Bluff road at our son and Grandkids house having dinner, when my son got called away to the Fire Because he is a Ferndale Firefighter, along with his Colleagues.. The fire was So close by you could smell and see the thick smoke. It definitely had us all on the edge of our seat.. Son if you are reading this Please stay safe along with your fellow firefighters and Thanks for a Great Job you all do, Keeping the People and the Community’s Safe.
Thank you. I first heard much later than that but I often don’t get the Ferndale scanner traffic.
