I’m guessing the auto shop side is good. However, I had an oil change done there and the technician left the air filter assembly detached and sitting on top of the engine. It ran so terribly I had to take it back and they fixed it. Then, I took another vehicle in for oil changes on two separate occasions. Both times I had just checked the oil, but was told it was 3 quarts low.
With their prices way higher than average, I would expect better, more honest service – especially with a AAA recommendation.
Leon’s has done a good job for me. I feel like they are honest and do a good job. Plus I love those cookies.
I’m not willing to spend 4x the price on services. Typical oil change is through the roof there.
Ben Round since they were Leon’s Muffler Shop. Know others will remember that too.
It wasn’t really that long ago
Fair enough. But it’s all relative to ones’ local experience. Mine, in Humboldt, goes back to the early 1970’s.
The more a place advertises, the more they cost. Good mechanics don’t have to advertise all over the place. Word of mouth keeps business flowing.
