46 New COVID Cases Reported Since Friday

Humboldt COunty COVID-19 InformationPress release from the County of Humboldt:

Forty-six new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Humboldt County since the most recent report Friday. A previously reported case has been removed after it was determined to be a duplicate. The total number of county residents who have tested positive for the virus now stands at 4,775c

Since the last weekly update on July 12, the county has reported 99 new cases of COVID-19, three new hospitalizations and two deaths. Of the residents who were hospitalized, one was in their 40s, one in their 60s and one in their 70s. One of the residents who died was in their 60s and the other in their 70s. To date, the county has reported a total of 219 hospitalizations and 53 deaths.

As the spread of the highly contagious Delta variant triggers a rise in cases across the state, a growing number of California counties are urging residents to wear masks indoors. Los Angeles County, the most populous county in the state, has reinstated its indoor mask requirement, while more than a dozen other counties strongly recommend them.

Statewide, unvaccinated residents over the age of two are required to wear facial coverings in indoor public spaces. To find out more about the role of masks in preventing the spread of COVID-19, visit cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/effective-masks.html.

Public Health officials reiterate that eligible members of the community get vaccinated. Vaccine is available at Public Health clinics and at most local pharmacies. Walk-ins are welcome at all Public Health clinics, or sign up in advance at MyTurn.ca.gov. See the clinic schedule for the next seven days below.

“Since the last weekly update on July 12, the county has reported 99 new cases…”.
That’s an average of 14 cases per day. Back in Oct. 2020, that was twice the amount to put us in the purple tier. Am I overlooking something? Wondering what the criteria are now.

We stopped using that system when cases in california were falling. If cases keep going up, a similar system may be re-instated.

People sure would feel more safe if they had a color coded system to know how fearful they should be on any given day. On purple days, there is absolutely no contact between myself and husband or kids. We all wear masks indoors and I make them eat alone in their rooms but yellow days are a treat; I allow my husband to touch me without latex gloves on but he still must maintain an arms distance!!

Newsom can’t do anything with a recall in front of him. No one wants more color charts and lockdowns (except a few extremists commenting on local websites).

Wait until September/October, he may implement something even more ridiculous if we don’t throw his butt out of office.

Did Kym report on the larger stock market drop last october? Who cares? The stock market is a very poor indicator of overall economic health for most people. Look at the GameSpot fiasco to see how little massive increase in stock prices affects a company on the ground. Its a casino for the hyper-wealthy.

Every time I go out to a public place (e.g. grocery store, hardware store, etc.) I see signs that say if you aren’t vaccinated you must wear a mask.

Only about 50% of the population in Humboldt is vaccinated. I’d bet no more than 10% of the people I see in the stores are wearing a mask or keeping distance. Heck, I’d bet half the people who are wearing masks are also vaccinated and are still wearing masks because of the high local case numbers.

Is it any wonder we’re seeing so many cases?

There are also take-home Covid tests.

And less interest in testing.

50% of Humboldt has learned how to manage risk and live on with the vaccine.

Six people is hardly a superspreader event, especially given as they were sharing close quarters in a hotel and meeting space.

The vaccines are about 90% effective at preventing infection with delta, from what I remember seeing. 6 people out of 55 people is in line with this.

I imagine most/all excess deaths over the past year are more closely related to the increased domestic violence/alcoholism/drugtrafficking that ticked up after the lockdown.

Does this bad flu season still got people panicked? I know two people that tested positive last week, one had a headache for a full day the other had zero symptoms, this flu is a real killer. But they were under 50 so they had about a 100 percent chance of survival, flipping ridiculousness, panic on Karens.

1) Flu season is typically November-March. It’s July. It’s not the flu.

2) Many cases are mild or asymptomatic but they can still spread it to people who get severe, even life-threatening cases. Look at the number of folks who’ve been hospitalized locally in recent weeks. Or who died.

3) Caring about what happens to the vulnerable in our population isn’t ridiculous or some kind of made up panic. It’s called common decency, something many of the vocal naysayers seem to lack.

The more I think about it Tim, the more I think the flu and SarsCov2 might have gotten “married”.

Or well at least maybe as in “joined together”.

The case counts are no longer separated. The case counts are are treated as one and the same, along with pneumonia.

Why? Are they the same now?

Or can they just no longer be differentiated?

Maybe they are now relatively one and the same? Are they now “linked”.

A hybrid? Spliced?

A flu/ SARS chimera?

If that same cocker spaniel tissue they’ve been using and cloning for so long, used to make the flu vaccines, had coronavirus in the first place, that might explain things.

Talk about passive adaptation!

And before you get all high on your horse about how that isn’t possible, or there’s no evidence of it, remember, the origin of SarsCov2 has not been determined.

That means everything is still on the table.

I am not going to simply scapegoat WIH. Fauci knows, but he ain’t talking.

Typically , nothing typical about testing everyone for the flu. When was the last time a test kit for the flu was advertised or used so much? Ridiculous, did I mention the 2 that tested positive quarantined for 2 weeks in their bedrooms. I personally find it Ridiculous to lock yourself in a room for 2 weeks. Just stay away from people is good enough, just like if you were sick with anything else, or as people have done for years, not a big deal. The flu has been the number killer of our elders for ever . Do older people just die? Or do they get some sort of flu most the time and die?

AA,

And that is why the Pfizer jabs should never be FFA approved, may never be approved, and have not been approved in 150% of the time it should have taken for them to be FDA approved.

Because they misrepresented the true efficacy of the vaccine, and that is a disqualification.

And their were too many “surprise” serious side effects, which is also a disqualification.

So the “emergency” must be maintained, or the EUA goes away, and they cannot keep jabbing, without FDA approval. No more vaccines. Or boosters. And the vaccine manufacturers are saying boosters are necessary at 6-8 months. So is Delta really more contagious?, (is that even peer reviewed?), or are the jabs just wearing out over time?

A few more things look wonky, too.

You be the judge, but for goodness sake be reasonable, and really consider the significance of these ongoing shifts.

First off, the breakthrough case numbers were being compared to the regular case numbers.

Then, when that started to look bad they changed the methodology of counting the breakthrough cases to only the sickest or deaths and lowered the PCR for breakthrough case identification but left everything the same for regular cases.

Next, when even that started to look too bad….

They shifted away from comparing breakthrough cases, to regular cases, at all,

and started to compare only the most serious breakthrough cases and deaths, to the total number of fully vaccinated people… That out to do it… With continuing vaccinations, the resulting number will now remain miniscule….

Genius, right? Yes, evil genius.

That shoes the lowest possible percentage. They finally figured it out.

Or, another ruse way the CDC is expressing it as, is only the most serious breakthrough cases and deaths, from the beginning of full vaccination, (approximately 6 months), as compared to all regular cases or deaths of Covid19 among the unvaccinated, (from the last 18 months).

Comparing 6 months of data from relatively fewer people, to 18 months of data for everyone else, as percentages isn’t a real comparison.

Why all the ongoing shifts and deception if the jabs are legit?

Don’t forget the Netanyahu Logic it all began with when he stated, incredibly, that the jarring fact was, that at a time when less than 3% of Israelis were even fully vaccinated that, over 97% of the Israelis dying of Covid19, (or anything else for that matter, as it turns out) were, wait for it,…

Unvaccinated! Imagine that! As if anything else was even remotely possible!

A miracle of modern medicine!

Proves the efficacy of over 97%!!!

Right???

Oh, wait, not so much…

Efficacy can’t possibly be proven 2 months into the vaccination period.

Oh well, the ruse worked, everyone fell for it!

Well, almost everyone.

Not me.

Some even used Netanyahu’s statement as a confirmation of vaccine efficacy… And never even retracted it, even though it could, in fact, not possibly have been a confirmation of vaccine efficacy.

I kept hoping somebody would.

It never happened.

That’s how easily people are deceived.

Even the people who I consider very intelligent.

Who can see it doesn’t work that way?

Anybody?

I’ve already heard from the people who dispute everything.

Save it folks.

What I want to know is, who actually sees the truth?

EXCLUSIVE: J&J exploring putting talc liabilities into bankruptcy

July 18 (Reuters) – Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.N) is exploring a plan to offload liabilities from widespread Baby Powder litigation into a newly created business that would then seek bankruptcy protection, according to seven people familiar with the matter.

During settlement discussions, one of the healthcare conglomerate’s attorneys has told plaintiffs’ lawyers that J&J could pursue the bankruptcy plan, which could result in lower payouts for cases that do not settle beforehand, some of the people said. Plaintiffs’ lawyers would initially be unable to stop J&J from taking such a step, though could pursue legal avenues to challenge it later.

The San Jose Mercury News reported:

Secretary of State Shirley Weber’s office has posted the tax returns of the 41 people vying to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom in the September recall election, giving voters a peek at how everyone from reality star Caitlyn Jenner to former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer make their money. So why aren’t the sitting governor’s tax returns among them?

The governor is not considered a “candidate,” so the new requirement to cough up five years of returns does not apply. Newsom’s campaign team said he had submitted his returns anyway, but a spokeswoman for Weber, a Newsom appointee, said Monday that because the returns weren’t required, the office wouldn’t review or release them. That has some Newsom critics and recall supporters crying foul.

A spokesperson for Newsom’s campaign did not respond to a request Monday for copies of the documents.

“For a guy who spent a lot of time bashing Donald Trump, his excuse is rather Trump-y,” said Bill Whalen, a Hoover Institution research fellow of the lack of 2020 returns, referring to the former president’s repeated refusal to hand over his documents while they were under audit.

California’s law requiring candidates to show their tax returns is the outcome of an effort to force then-President Donald Trump to show his tax returns to qualify for the presidential ballot in 2020. The law was thrown out by the courts for the presidential election, but a similar requirement remains in place for gubernatorial candidates.

You can check Mercury News, but they have a paywall.

All I know is, Taco Bell keeps shorting me on my GMO nachos

[UPDATE, ~MIDNIGHT] Never mind, they totally hooked me up this time. The box won’t shut right, and is spilling all over the truck.

AND, there’s these new freebaseable beefy taterpitacitas that they roll in phosphorescent sildenafil that make you have to take the long way home and want to keep the location tracking for the app on forever.

Everyone I know who has recently testes positive for SARS cov2 is vaccinated. If course the narrative will be it’s the unvaxxed populations fault.. and it just keeps spinning and you all lap it up

No one questions the cycles ( amplification rate ) of the PCR test. They must have turned it UP to get more “false positives” to induce more FEAR and justifying more lock downs and back to the mask. Oh, and more booster shots!

“Now “the CDC has suddenly discovered the power of cycle thresholds on PCR testing in determining whether the positive results are real or meaningful. But here’s the problem: Where is this guidance when it comes to non-vaccinated people?”
