Well has anyone found out what the cause of the accident was. Or when highway 20 will be open again.

It can’t? It does when there are “major injuries” and especially “fatalities” as they must wait for the coroner to arrive before they can move the body. This can take several hours. Cause of the accident? Head on collision: someone was driving in the wrong lane is my guess. That road needs a center divider!

RIP and condolences to the family of the deceased. Prayers for those who were injured.

Wow, you people should be ashamed of your selves complaining about how long the clean up is and learning from people’s mistakes. That’s some one family. People are dead and or dying, and all you care about is how long the clean up will be.. you are all sorry excuse for human beings. The problem with the world today

Right Kelly! My god, they need to get a grip. Someone died. Really selfish of them to be only concerned about themselves in this situation.

I’m really sorry about your Dad, Eddie. I lost my Mom six months ago and it’s really hard to lose a parent. Everybody grieves in their own way and their own time. So take care of yourself and don’t let anyone else tell you how to feel. It’s up to you. And remember that lots of people have you in their thoughts and prayers.

IMHO: Probably not a cell phone.

Lots of Hwy 20… is 2 lane. Some people get frustrated with slow drivers… and risk everything in a dicey pass.
Sometimes they make a mistake… and take others out with them.

Hwy 20 has been a nightmare for a long time, but seems to be getting worse with increased population and recently the lack of public schools driver training.

Also speed er… ‘limits’ have increased by 5 to 10 mph lately.
Not legal ones but ones that mean you probably won’t get a ticket.

Thank you all for the warm wishing and prayers. My name is Vicky and it was my family that was involved in this crash. I am still in the hospital suffering from a collapsed lung, but I am alive and will get batter. God is on my side! As for the drunk driver, I’m so sorry he lost his life! His family now will suffer that heart ache. But my family, we went out for my sons 8th birthday and enjoyed the beach and now our lives have been flipped upside down. All I ask from you all, please pray for my children. Pray for their hearts. They are so broken hearted and sad and worried about me. Thank you all so much, and thank you Lori for standing up for us ❤
