17-Year-Old Local Takes the Ferndale Library, a Reluctant Guardian Angel, Santa Clarita, and the Theme of Choices and Creates a Magical Story
Griffin Loch, a local 17-year-old moviemaker, is getting ready to release his newest creation filmed in “Santa Clarita, in the redwood forests, and scenic towns of Humboldt County.”
“A SPARK IN NOTHING is a locally made, award-winning, and my third feature-length film,” Loch wrote.
According to the summary, in this story, a reluctant guardian angel, William, finds it challenging to overcome his selfish ways and connect with James, the boy that he is to look after. The film explores choices and how lives are changed with a single seemingly simple decision.
Tickets to see ‘A SPARK IN NOTHING’ at the Redwood Acres Drive-in July 9 at nightfall are on sale here.

How can we see it other than the drive in? Can’t make it to that viewing. It looks really interesting! And fun! I’ve got my.popcorn.out. Always looking for a good movie.
We saw Griffin”s TP Man and Flusher at The Steeple. It was great! Yes. Hoping there will be a showing elsewhere than the drive in. Look forward to seeing this one.
