DUI jerk bolts n does this shit. With Covelo so remote, nor having any resident deputies what are options???. Long have advocated for several cameras in the valley. Casino, Cal Fire, Trading Post area, just past Riffle Road. Or maybe a couple of lot cops. That way when you need to one can grab a camera clip to see who ran people over, hit others. Sad to say happens way more often in Covelo than it should. What are the Coveloi hit and run statistics? Really too much for this small population. Prayers to the victims. ♥️

The population is not small. 10k plus cell phones pings in the surrounding mountains that funnel through Covelo. Like everything here, people would rather protect their secrets rather than their community.
