I used to drive that part of the road quite often there aren’t any hairpin turns or anything faintly resembling some, the driver must have been impaired, to not be able to negotiate that part of the road!!!

Brutal ordeal, can’t imagine how difficult and painful it would be to struggle for two days climbing a hill with a broken leg.

I’d like to know that part of this story. How did he spend the first night? In pain, on a slope I imagine, without water. Actually, hard to imagine. I hope the driver recovers his health.

That guy had some guts! Climbing up a hill with a broken leg must have been a real painful experience. But if he had stayed with his vehicle he could have gone for days without anyone seeing it over the bank. Kind of a damned if I don’t and damned if I do situation. Hope his leg will be fine after it heals.

I’m just a few miles away. What I think is worse is how relentless the sun and heat have been the last few days. Just weeding in the garden for short spells it took me 2 gallons to get hydrated yesterday. Crawling around on the ground the rocks will burn you and it is 10-20 degrees hotter than standing up.

I’M CONFUSED, MILE MARKER 12.5 ON HWY 36 IS NOT IN TRINITY COUNTY.
