First 5 Humboldt presents a Make the Moment Count Summer Film Series

First Five HumboldtPress release from First 5 Humboldt:

First 5 Humboldt will be showcasing three films beginning on June 21st to inspire dialogue around the question, “What can we do to promote lifelong health and wellbeing?” The series will include Facebook Live events to discuss the themes and messages found within the stories.

The series will kick-off with a Facebook live conversation between Mary Ann Hansen with First 5 Humboldt and Ashley Gephart with Humboldt County Public Health on June 21st from 12-12:30 at https://www.facebook.com/First5Humboldt. The first two films, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and Ka’m-tem: A Journey Toward Healing will be directed toward adults, agencies, and community groups, and will be available for remote viewing. The third film, Inside Out, will be a family friendly event presented as a drive-in movie at Redwoods Acres on August 21, showtime 8:30 p.m.

First 5 Humboldt will be providing free “viewing party packs” which include a tote bag, water bottle, a film series discussion packet, and other items. Party Packs can be reserved at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3MYZKYP
