Hope both the rider and driver are ok. Please watch for bicycle riders on the highway. Some are very good at staying all the way to the right, while others think they own the road. If you are following a rider that is having trouble keeping to his right please back off and give them some space until the road gets better and you can safely pass them.
Remember that the law says you must allow a minimum of 3 feet between the bicyclist and your car and you are not allowed to cross a double yellow line to accomplish that.
Riding a bicycle on the highway. Genius!
The portion of this highway is well-trafficked by bicyclists for the Pacific Coast Highway cycle route. (https://www.adventurecycling.org/routes-and-maps/adventure-cycling-route-network/pacific-coast/).
This is a “share the road” section.
Think I passed this accident, older white guy with super powerful head strobe lamp?
