[UPDATE 8:15 p.m.] Barn Fully Engulfed in Fire Near Hydesville; May Be Full of Livestock
Just before 8 p.m., a dispatcher sent firefighters to a barn off Hwy 36 near Riverbar Road just west of Hydesville fully engulfed in flames according to first reports.
The dispatcher relayed that she had been told that the barn may have been full of livestock. Soon after she said that a witness reported that flames were spreading into the treeline.
Hydesville, Fortuna, and Rio Dell Fire are responding to the incident.

UPDATE 8:15 p.m.: Some of the equipment is being sent back as the firefighters gain control of the fire.

Does anyone know who owns the barn? I have a friend that lives out there with a barn, but they are not home.
Was it actually full of livestock?
