Humboldt County Fair Moving Forward With Fair Plans for August: “A County Fair with a Western Flair”

This is a press release from the Humboldt County Fair:

The Humboldt County Fair has announced their planned fair dates for the 2021 Humboldt County Fair.  If all goes well with reopening plans, the Fair will be held starting Wednesday, August 18th and running through Sunday, August 29, 2021.  The Theme of the fair was chosen at the last Board meeting, “A County Fair with a Western Flair.”  All phases of the fair are in the planning stages including Horseracing, Carnival, Vendors, Exhibits and Livestock.

In an effort to secure more horses to run during the fair, there is currently a “Horses to Humboldt” GoFundMe page set up to help horses make the trip to Ferndale.  It’s been a tough year for horses too as they have not been able to run races.  Over the years, the cost for horse owners to travel, stall, feed, and insure their horses has continually gone up.  The campaign is an effort to keep the local tradition alive of making heart-warming memories in Ferndale during the sunny days at the fair enjoying the horse races with friends and family by offering incentives to horse owners to attend.  The “Horses to Humboldt” GoFundMe page can be found on the Humboldt County Fair’s Facebook page, or you can contact the fairgrounds office directly if you want to donate.

The Fair is also looking for Vendors who would like to sell and promote their products and services in our Commercial Building during the fair.  Applications for commercial Vendors can be found on the HCF website https://www.humboldtcountyfair.org, by emailing [email protected], or by calling the Fair office at (707) 786-9511.

For more information about the fair, check for progress updates on their website, https://humboldtcountyfair.org/  or follow Humboldt County Fair on Facebook!   We are looking forward to an exciting 2021 “County Fair with a Western Flair.”

I guess libs are going to quietly stop calling these super spreader events and pretend that all of their hysteria never happened?

Do any libs have an explanation as to why FL and TX are no worse for the wear or are we still going with: some people in FL and TX were wearing masks and some people in CA and NY were not; that’s why?-LOL.

Will tyrannical libs ever admit how horribly wrong they are to remain locked down given the examples of FL and TX? Just kidding; rhetorical question.

Will libs ever recognize that grocery stores and other places that never locked down didn’t have a problem and that the policies that they advocated needlessly bankrupted and destroyed people’s lives, whose businesses were forced to close? Nope! Put your masks on!

When you see someone jogging outside on a sunny day with a mask on, what are the odds it’s a Biden voter that watches MSNBC or CNN? Would Vegas lay odds on that bet?

Who will be the first lib to dare take their mask off ?

Will they wait for permission from Fausti, CNN, MSNBC? Just kidding, that was rhetorical. Of course they will-LOL.

Not liberal but no one goes to Texas or Florida. California has many travelers why we are the 7th largest economy in the world. Every state mentioned pales in comparison.

I will say that if wearing a mask and social distancing helps just a little in preventing someone’s death then we should do it. We make little League catchers wear protection for their nuts. So, in applying your opinion they should just take it in the nuts cause it’s a serious violation to that child’s freedom, right.

“Not liberal but no one goes to Texas or Florida”

So not only do you not even know that you are a liberal but you believe that no one goes to FL or TX? Maybe it’s time to give up the dope. Given that you once tried to equate the heroes that stormed the beaches at Normandy to the fascist scum known as Antifa, it’s no surprise that you don’t feel stupid making such an asinine comment. The next one’s even better:

“We make little League catchers wear protection for their nuts”

We make children do a lot of things; they’re children. And cups work very well, which is why people wear them voluntarily.

Ya know why The wind blows in Louisiana, cause TX and FL suck. The men who stormed the beaches were Anti-Facists, yes! Known today as ANTIFA. YES, fact, no one goes to those shitty states. They have lost billions is why they are trying to keep their stores and entertainment open because, get this, no one is traveling to either. The only way they get any corporations to move there is with huge incentives and 0 tax offers. 75% of the population in TX and FL make less than 55k a year while the rich abuse the low wages to make huge profits. Fuck TX and FL.

California is the 7th largest economy on this planet. Where is FL and TX, where, no where cause they both suck! Toot, toot, all aboard the Cain Train, next stop TX then FL, toot, toot!!!!

What are the odds if someone brings up big, scary Antifa in arguments that they have been thoroughly red-pilled and live with the same irrational fear they claim mask wearers do?

You write a lot of words about a pandemic that’s still happening. So many words regarding information that has yet to be conclusive. Proud proclamations of certainty when many cities, counties and states have different reporting standards and data that’s even being recorded. It’s not uniform. Not to mention different mandates and different levels of people who decided they were capable of taking the simple precautions to save the lives of others that vary as much or more as the reporting of data. You can write a paragraph of conservative orgasm inducing bull shit but how you gonna pretend there’s facts in there?? Meet me back here in 5-10 years and we’ll know more conclusively if you can, in fact, “own the libs.”

Western flare 🔥

Oh, and ffs the “let’s kill a horse every day” cruelty runs can stop. It’s disgusting and disturbing when they bring out the “curtain of death.”

…Curtain of shame more like; when it’s curtains for poor the horse. 🐎 ☠️ 🐴

No horse should be allowed to race until they are five. Nor put into race training before they are four. But then keeping a horse for so long before trying (and that’s usually the word because making money with race horses is a sketchy business) to make them profitable would likely end the sport.

I disagree and have managed racehorses. The industry needs to be regulated and tested. Until states like California, Kentucky, Texas and Arkansas continue to race untested horses more and more will die on the track. Only NY tests, surprising NY, why the California horse Bodemeister didn’t run in the Belmont even though he won the Derby and Preakness cause he was shot full of milk! Now if they did test the the shit trainer out of Los Al Bob Baffert would be outta business.

We love the fair, we are vaccinated, healthy, and ready for the racing too. And your right, a friend lives in Texas, he said some wear masks, some don’t. He and his family never got sick, but they were recently vaccinated. You are also right, the left has hurt the blue states the worst, but we are all starting to see just how bad they are. The school heirarchy yell at and threaten parents, call them stupid, just for asking questions, they try to intimidate students, which isn’t working anymore, as students are realizing they don’t need school to have a good life. And the superintendents can’t put them in jail or anything. This virus was a direct result of the [edit]chinese govt. trying to destroy our way of life. And Trump beat them, this vaccine is all Trumps. We don’t think things can get too far more wrong, or to the left, 2022 there will be big changes. That Harris chic has not had a news conference about the border for over 32 days. Asshole. Such a coward.

Trump mostly played golf, watched TV, and ran up the bill, while he got richer. Still hasn’t payed a lot of bills, but handed out enough for his properties. Why you people loved a loud mouth egocentric New Yorker is beyond me.

Maybe next time they should not have any mandates or safety protocols and let the virus go buck wild. We need a thinning of the population anyway. Hopefully all you ignorant uneducated morons will be the first to go. That will also stop your stockpiling of toilet paper.

I’m vaccinated so I welcome the fair. Party on!
