Eureka Man Arrested for Trafficking Fentanyl Into Humboldt County
This is a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
Levi Jones
On April 22nd, 2021 at approx. 5:00am agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force (HCDTF) made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1600 block of Railroad Dr. in Eureka. Agents had been investigating the driver, Levi Jones (29 years old from Eureka), for trafficking Fentanyl into Humboldt County from San Francisco. Agents had previously obtained a search warrant for Jones and his vehicle.
During the service of the search warrant agents located approx. 1.5 ounces of Fentanyl and a replica handgun in the vehicle. Jones was currently out of jail on bail for a previous arrest. Jones was arrested and booked at the Humboldt County Jail for the following charges:
- H&S 11352(a) Transportation of controlled substances for sale
- H&S 11352(b) Transportation of controlled substances across non-contiguous counties
- H&S 11351 Possession of controlled substance for sale
- PC 12022.1 Committing a felony while out on bail

Another great example of California’s liberal implementation of crime control. Previously arrested criminals (felons) are running loose in our community. Read these arrest notices here and other sources and the vast majority are repeat criminals.

First note that he did get busted, and arrested this is a booking photo, not a get outa jail photo. By letting him loose, and following him, they got the dope.
You blame this “California liberal” notion on him(getting arrested). Humboldt’s DA is no liberal. We just got done with 4 years of a republican president. If this guy always lived in California then he had Pete Wilson and Arnold Shwartzeneger as governor too growing up. The opioid problem is worse in many places in the US, most with Republicans in charge, Indiana, Arizona, Illinois, Ohio

Trafficking fentanyl should be an automatic murder charge as you certainly will supply that shit to someone who will get killed by it
Fentanyl is pouring over the border while Dems de fund Ice, keep BP busy with thousands of abandoned children packed in cages, that will Not be reunited with their mothers.

Any Fentenal dealer must be sentenced to death or life ( mininum 80 yesrs hard labor ) what they do is murder and worse than murder ? Creating destroyed brains and bodies with zero chance to ever become human – also children into sex slaves ? I have only seen this in Humbolt county ? Sheriffs seem to think this is a low level problem ? I have never seen this additude any where but humboldt county very disturbing bordering on insane and I saw all this myself personally it was beyond disgusting only place that comes close is San Francisco which is overrun by dealers all around City Hall Civic Center – I must’ve seen 50 dealers with backpacks there- At least recently they put a complementary security personnel around the city parks better than nothing I guess
I’d much rather see addicts doing heroin than fentanyl for a number of reasons
Back in the 70s medicinal chemists were already predicting the day when cheap synthetics would be the number one problem.
