(update 10:05 a.m.: Woman arrested in stabbing of two young relatives) Possible Stabbing in King Salmon
Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a possible stabbing in King Salmon this morning about 9:00 a.m.
According to Humboldt County Sheriff’s spokesperson Samantha Karges, two juveniles have been reported to have been injured and a suspect was detained.
Please remember this is a preliminary report and we are doing our best to provide accurate information about information is subject to revision as more facts come to light.

We have learned that this incident was related to a female brandishing a knife at the Broadway Patriot gas station in eureka this morning. See photo above. We requested more information from the Humboldt county Sheriff’s department and will update as soon as possible.
Update 10:05 a.m.: information from the Humboldt county Sheriff’s department.
On April 21, 2021, at about 8:50 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on the 1800 block of Buhne Drive in King Salmon for the report of a possible stabbing with two injured juvenile victims.
While responding to the incident, deputies received information that a 29-year-old female was currently at a gas station on the 4100 block of Broadway Street in Eureka, brandishing a knife. Officers with the Eureka Police Department responded to the gas station and detained the female. Upon further investigation, law enforcement learned that the female had been provided transportation by a motorist to the location from King Salmon. Based upon information obtained, the female was determined to be the suspect of the incident in King Salmon.
Meanwhile, at the residence in King Salmon, deputies located two juvenile males, ages 11 and 7, with significant laceration injuries. The juveniles were transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment and are in unknown condition at this time. The juveniles have been confirmed to be related to the suspect.
This incident is still under investigation and more information will be released when available.

Damn they were real nice kids never saw parents and have lived down the road from me for years real sweet pittie . the older kid has helped with my garbage so many times in past . I pray the kids are okay. To previous comment this neighborhood is much safer than it use to be. I know I have lived here since 2008 and did security for park at times when boyfriend was too tired.Many of us upset by this kids were real nice.
Back when I was a kid in rural small town America, It was neighbors looking out for each other. Kids ran around in packs and did not worry much. Now 30-40 years later…

11 and 7 years old? Jeez, they’re just babes! What’s the deal and did the woman attend the Pamela Millsap School of Child Abuse? This is so sad to hear of anyone cutting, stabbing, hurting any child. I hope the kids get the help they’re gonna need. (Woman, too, for that matter.)
Unfortunately for the residents of King Salmon and I am one to be blamed a or accused of being bad people for the acts of a few. I live in the RV park almost all of the residents are very good people. I have a nice home and yard I work, pay taxes and live as clean of life as I can. I don’t believe King Salmon is a bad place and most residents are good hard working people. It you the media trolls that gives King Salmon a bad name.
King Salmon the adults have too much time and it is a methy situation. Terrible. Mental health starts in the womb. This momma never stood a chance. Will her kids? Pray they can recover, heal and have a better life ahead and proper supports are proved for that to happen.
