This is a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On March 31, 2021, deputies with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) served one search warrant to investigate illegal cannabis cultivation in the Dinsmore area. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife assisted in the service of the warrant.

Two parcels were investigated during the service of the warrant. The parcels did not possess the required county permit and state license to cultivate cannabis commercially.

During the service of the warrant, deputies eradicated approximately 6,605 growing cannabis plants. Deputies also located and seized over $99,000 pursuant to asset forfeiture proceedings.

California Department of Fish and Wildlife representatives found the following violations:

  • Five water diversion violations (up to $8,000 fine per day, per violation)
  • Four water pollution violations (up to $20,000 fine per day, per violation)

Sheriff’s deputies will be requesting an arrest warrant be issued by the District Attorney’s Office for the individual responsible for this operation. This individual is believed to be responsible for multiple illegal cultivation operations, including those investigated last week in the Buck Mountain and Blocksburg areas.

Anyone with information about this case or related criminal activity is encouraged to call the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office at (707) 445-7251 or the Sheriff’s Office Crime Tip line at (707) 268-2539.

What’s so bad about the pictures there’s thousands of properties that look much worse . Wow two springs. I don’t see anything wrong with them. It’s pathetic the manipulation by law enforcement.

I agree. This is not ok but we let the bums build and every nook and cranny in our beautiful Forest. They are like discusting birds that gather trash and bring back to there nest. All these people want to feel sorry for them but it’s OK for them to completely destroy areas with garbage and defecation everywhere. Wake up people, we all were dealt a hand, its how you play it. Some of us took the hard way, the rite way, others sit for a handout.

Get them, bust everyday and get these big illegals out of here. Tear up their land take out the driveway, so they cannot start over again. Keep them in jail until they say who they got the clones from, bust the cloners big time. Take all their equipment, put them out of business permanently. lets go!

Bust the cloners lol. The last time I went to the dispensary that rhymes with Spendobamm, I asked the helpful person at the counter for a specific strain clone which was not available. They then informed me that they get large numbers in of that specific strain every week, but are very quickly bought out by Latinos. They then offered to call me when available, and I could get as many as I want…hundreds or more if I wanted, even though legally they should only sell me six or twelve.

I bought nothing, and will not be back.

First question, wtf does the ethnicity of a supposed buyer matter?

Second question, why did the retailer get the impression that you were the type of buyer interested in purchasing bulk?

Hmm….

Legally they can sell you 6 trays of clones at 100 clones apiece. Because until they’re planted individually all the clones in a tray count as 1 plant under metric compliance.

Metric compliance?! Say what? And how has that worked out? Yeah, and Catherine Bell called to chat the other day but I told her to get the cosmetic work reversed and then we can talk.

It’s not just a plant. it is a powerful drug that intoxicates you, and causes problems with your judgement. It damages your lungs. Long term use causes schitzophrenia. Young people get it, smoke it, and it slows brain development way down. So they stay stupid and unproductive. Plus, since they cannot keep a job, or get one, they steal to get it. It causes criminal activity to increase. It causes wrecks when a driver is intoxicated. It is a serious detriment to our society. A Madrone tree is just a plant. Marijuana is an intoxicant, and a powerful one at that. it causes you to veg out, ignoring wife and kids. Many who smoke that shit, drive with their kids in the car, getting them stoned, making them stupid. The schools would send notes home asking parents to not smoke when taking their kids to the bus stop, as it changes their behavior, not to the better. It is not just a plant. Teachers hate it. they see first hand how bad it is. Stupid.

Wow pal I been smoking weed longer then you have probably been alive, and I graduated from college at 44 Magna Cum Laude with an AA in Legal Technology and a B.S in Administration of Justice. I am sure ,without a doubt ,that you are wrong about slowed brain development. Further more , the 29 years of tabacco took a bigger toll on my lungs, and I niether am paranoid, nor diagnosed as schizophrenic. So I would suggest that you be more …..
educated regarding the rhetoric that you put forth in your rant.

Nice Reefer Madness rant. The only thing you left out is that it makes black men and Mexicans go crazy and rape white women.

I won’t even bother with the list of prominent and successful people who toke.

Of course no one advocates giving it to kids. Total straw dog.

You sound miserable, I couldn’t imagine being so obsessed and distraught over something that I have no understanding of whatsoever. You have a warped, unrealistic idea of how pot works, how it effects people etc… Reefer Madness isn’t completely dead I guess.

You really oughta try the stuff, at least once, so you could at least have some sort of foundation for your opinions, other than the blind paranoia currently guiding your decisions/philosophy in life.

Worked for me, Biggest problems I had were legal including legal discrimination in employment due to aforesaid court action. Call something bad and make sure it’s bad under law, regardless of reality. Works for many people but job and legal discrimination deter “true confessions”, even now. Sorry it didn’t do it for you. Does anything? Just curious.

That is a stream or creek bed run dry by diversion. Imagine being a salmon trying to go up the river bed to stream/lay eggs. I don’t feel sorry for you guys.

Yes, it looks like a hand-dug diversion ditch from a stream. Has to stay deep to keep gravity-feeding from the creek bed. This has been done around the world, but the impact can be heavy. All rural centers of human life draw water from somewhere close by. It’s a matter of volume and technique. This is true for any crop. Tomatoes and corn may use more water IMHO.

These folks chose not to bury plastic pipe which is neater and less likely to blow out if it ever rains again. OK, Akismet is about to time me out. That’s a blessing.

I wonder how much (reported ) cash is confiscated each year on the average. The county should be lowering my Taxes or at least fixing the roads. It could be a million dollars a year. Just this bust added $100,000 to the county bank account. Maybe pay the hard working tax payers back for all the money we spent the last 20 years with Camp eradicating gardens then have the same county officials legalize it. Now the county gets large permit fees from the legal growers and cash from the illegal ones. Tax payer gets the shaft.

Anybody want to start a eradication team for legal grows, I’ll provide funding. Let’s go find violations at these big so called legal farms, fine them, and eradicate them.
