Murder Mountain Plus Bigfoot? A New ‘Documentary’ About This Area From Hulu

Sooo…this is definitely a story that could only come out of the Emerald Triangle. And we’re just going to let you all make up your own mind about Hulu’s new, three-part “documentary”, Sasquatch.

But if you want our opinion, you can just picture Murder Mountain without the stunning cinematography and throw in a whole lot of Bigfoot.

Now, before you check out the trailer above…, check out the storyline in this press release from Hulu below:

While visiting a pot farm in Northern California in 1993, investigative journalist David Holthouse heard a story that still haunts him: On a nearby farm three men were torn limb from limb in a savage Bigfoot attack. Sasquatch follows David as he revisits the Redwoods 25 years later, in search of any evidence that might lead to the truth of what happened that night. As he pulls at the threads of this story he’ll be taken down a path that’s far more terrifying than anyone would have imagined.

The 3-episode series is directed by Joshua Rofé (Lorena, Swift Current) executive produced by Mark Duplass, Jay Duplass, and Mel Eslyn of Duplass Brothers Productions (Wild Wild Country, Evil Genius), Rofé and Steven Berger of Number 19, along with David Holthouse and Zach Cregger, and produced by M. Elizabeth Hughes.

Easy girl. It’s ok to have these stories and reports. If you haven’t seen bigfoot, you aren’t looking hard enough. And if you go camping or hiking in the woods, be they private property or govt. lands, you are vulnerable to attack, so make sure you are armed, and not stupid. Get on out and enjoy the sightings.

Uhm. Can you have guns on state park land? Just a question. As for Bigfoot: clickbait for conspiracy nutcases.

If you go out into the woods, and it is in a State park, and you are unarmed, and you get attacked, what good is any so called law saying no, you aren’t supposed to do that. And can you blame, or hold accountable, the idiot who would pass such a stupid law? No, you just get eaten or assaulted. And do you realize how many people in everyday situations are armed? In the supermarket, Costco, PGE office, gas stations, the Industrial Park, church? There are so many armed people out there, it’s one reason why people are safe.

No. You can not! I am from Death valley national park (Timbisha) and was being harassed by a bulbous man who carried a gun as well as a piece of paper giving him the rite to carry his gun in the park!

Really it is a stupid law. Stupid because the govt thinks we would obey stupid laws, stupid because you can be killed out there if you have no protection. But please, be my guest. We assume you have no guns in the first place, and go to a state park, and go for a nice long hike. No gun. just please go do it. You do realize people disappear up here all the time, and it is not always criminal. In the meantime, we will always be stupid, we will always carry.

Amen Brother, I carry and will always. Was shot at 3 weeks ago, but restrained enough to not shoot back. Cops took care of the other clown. As for the wilderness ANYONE dumb enough to go into the wilderness w out a weapon is one dumb individual. They need to watch David Paulides Missing 411.

Bigfoot is not real. There can’t be one, there would have to be a sustainable population. No evidence of groups, scat, bodies, bones, food sources, etc

Fake News! Sasquatch is gentle, kindly, and merely wants to be left alone. Harry and the Hendersons had a more realistic portrayal of Sasquatch than this slanderous abomination which instead projects nefarious human atrocities onto these innocent interplanetary refugees.

Bah! I say. Bah and Fie! I thumb my nose at Hulu and especially at those bogus Duplas bros. Phtttttttt!

Increasing number of cryptid sightings are happening nation-wide, no bs.
Some are timid and harmless. Some are not. Most will try to flee from you but don’t push your luck. Maintain situational awareness. If you have a dog, learn its signals. Dogs will usually react differently to bear, cats and humans. If it’s none of those, pay close attention. If you suspect a cryptid, do not whistle or bang sticks on trees. These have been shown to beckon and sometimes antagonize them. Most importantly, listen to your intuition, tune in to your lizard brain and obey the hair on the back of your neck. Your self-preservation may be screaming at you to gtfo, if it does, don’t argue with it, git gone as fast as you can. A seven to ten foot otherworldly being coming at you at 40 mph is nothing you want to have to deal with. Lots of people disappear and never come home to tell what happened. Live another day.

Speaking of dogs, why is it that no houndsmen have encountered this animal? No Bigfoot is going to outrun hounds in the woods. And they have been to the most remote places in these mountains.

Well, at least it’s sensationalism in the right place and not some ridiculous spot like Oklahoma.

Last month, something like that, there was a proposal in the OK legislature to offer Bigfoot hunting tags. There are no “bigfoot” in OK. Except on “reality TV”.

It was a former and late Eureka City Councilman (you do the homework) and another person who started the whole Bigfoot “legend” in the Willow Creek area. That Hulu devotes a three-part documentary to the myth shows that Hulu loves clickbait like any other entertainment venue. What a laugh!

That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Yes, there are many missing people but I do believe it has more to do with the marijuana industry in general. I have nothing at all against the growers. I’m more concerned when they divert water and damage them land. Grow as much as you want but be mindful. Bigfoot doing the murders that do happen is absolutely laughable. These people from HULU have no clue.

I am Bigfoot Gary’s stepdaughter from this documentary series. While I do not believe the allegations against him in the series to be accurate, I do know he is a pedophile. He molested me as a child and 3 other young girls from his past relationships (that I know of). I have tried to have him arrested. But this is a last resort to everyone defending him in my community. He is a child molester. I would have liked to have been interviewed to give factual information on him! I had no knowledge of this documentary coming out until yesterday.

Holy shit. I know in the doc, it said he didn’t have a daughter until 2000’s and I thought “well, that rules him out.” But I never thought about step daughters. This is crazy cuz I’m sitting here watching this right now. I am definitely wishing this reporter would have found you. Maybe you could reach out to him for a part 2?

You would not be like this if it was your son or daughter who was missing so you should at least think who just might be reading your b s
