Vaccines Safe, Side Effects More Frequent After Second Dose, Says Public Health

Covid VaccinePress release from the Humboldt County Joint Information Center:

Health officials are assuring the public about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines, while reminding them of common side effects, especially after the second dose of the series.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported that safety monitoring for the two vaccines approved for emergency use has been “the most intense and comprehensive in U.S. history.” The findings in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report are similar to those of clinical trials from the manufacturers Moderna and Pfizer, which show injection site pain, fatigue, headache and muscle pain were most frequently reported, with a higher frequency after the second dose.

Humboldt County Public Health Nurse and Clinic and Communicable Disease Program Supervisor Hava Phillips said that individuals who have had a reaction to a vaccine in the past, or may have an allergy, should discuss vaccination with their health care provider.

“It is not uncommon for people to experience a sore arm and swelling where the shot was given, or symptoms such as fever, body aches and fatigue as part of the process of building immunity,” Phillips said. “This is especially true after the second dose, when the body’s immune response is stronger. Severe reactions to the vaccine, requiring medical care, are rare and usually happen within the first 24 hours after getting the shot.”

Getting vaccinated is one of the most powerful tools in protecting individuals and communities and ultimately in ending the pandemic, Phillips said. “We’re moving as swiftly as supplies will allow, so take the first appointment you’re offered,” she said. “We’ve gotten this far by working together and vaccination is the next step.”

To reduce injection site pain and discomfort, the CDC recommends using or exercising your arm and/or applying a clean, cool, wet washcloth over the area. To reduce discomfort from fever, drink plenty of fluids and dress lightly.

The CDC recommends not taking over-the-counter medications such as ibuprofen, aspirin, antihistamines or acetaminophen before getting vaccinated to prevent side effects, because it is unknown how these medications could affect the vaccine’s effectiveness. Individuals can take these medications to relieve post-vaccination side effects, but as always, talk to your doctor first.

In order to move freely in the future, there is a plan for everyone to get the jab and thus a “”vaccine passport”. Yes.

It might start with airports, borders, etc but won’t take long before you’ll need to produce it in order to enter grocery stores etc.

Not to mention checkpoints set up on roads.

Yes, there are similarities for sure. Thus the “trial run” then, for now.

Straight-up totalitarianism. Some cheer, beg, fight FOR it.

(I personally think this plan will ultimately fail)

During the Biden Trump debates I recall Biden refusing to debate on foreign policy using the urgency of covid to have a second debate on that instead.

Now as I watch world events, the saber rattling has taken a dramatic rise in the Ukraine and The Middle East in less than 2 months.

How much of covid is a misdirection of our attention while the Biden war machine rears it’s ugly head?

The establishment is in an exposed and blind charge to inoculate as much of the population as fast as they can. Once the drug is readily available to everyone by July, over 100 million will be vaccinated in short order. The vaccine is designed to make people have a heighten immune response to future colds. The pandemic will intensify next year as newly vaccinated people become ill and their lungs fail.

The evidence is before us; it goes denied, suppressed and banish. Concerned people come to these message boards everyday, compelled to warn as many people as they can of the evil plan they know true.

Meanwhile the war establishment bombs Syria. It didn’t even take a month, and look how fast the middle east escalated and how active the military has become. Our news is filled with the Iraq War style US military coverage of “defensive strikes on enemy facilities.” Doesn’t that confirm the industrial war complex deep state apparatus exists now that an insider is back in the White House?

Her reply to the sumoflogic folks (they are pretty secretive as to who they are):

“Honestly, you are absolutely ignorant about this. Talking about informing your kids and saying that because it’s bipartisan there’s nothing to be concerned about——ridiculous.”

“You’re not doing “critical thinking “ because you literally don’t have enough information to be making a decision on Agenda 21. It’s not a simplistic issue. Globalization is the standardization of all systems including education, law enforcement, food distribution, energy, financial, land use: all ways that human beings affect the planet. If you’re lazy and just accept what you’re told by Wikipedia you’ll set a poor example for your children. What you are is the perfect example of someone who can be manipulated by the rhetoric provided by your city planning department, your educational system, and the surveillance state that is gathering every bit of information about you and your children. If this doesn’t concern you, and it is the implementation of Agenda21, then there’s nothing more to be said.
You have not debunked me; you haven’t even begun to understand the issues.”

Side effects aren’t dangerous? CDC vaccine injury database has recorded thousands hurt and hundreds killed. The vaccine is proven to critically weaken immune systems. The covid hoax fake pandemic is the beginning step of a mass act of genocide against the human race. We are in the last days of the modern world.

Enjoy a tasty hamburger or a hot slice of pizza. Have fun getting in a car and being able to drive somewhere. We are entering into a lockdown, hyper virus, death pandemic, world at war, dollar collapse, food shortages reality in less than two years.

All the modern comforts and amenities will be gone. Food lines with bug patties is our future. Buy storable food. Get right with God people. 2022 will see storage containers full of bodies and stadium ventilators.

Stadiums full of ventilators? Anyway I wish there was a betting website for the future of politics or the pandemic. Some people are angry because the virus doesn’t exist and others that it exists as a planned genocide. If there was a site where these choice could be wagers, then people would be able to put their money where their mouth is. Either we’ll see storage containers full of bodies or we won’t. Bets paid accordingly. Of course those who are believers in anything seem to always find something, no matter how small, as justification. And be just as angry.

As the owner of the site “Life or Death Bets”, I’d rake it in without even the risk that life insurance companies have that even the most unlikely things sometimes happen. I’d get paid either way.

If you think that is weird, you should check out the latest numbers from the CDC.

1,077 deaths out of the first 41 million doses.
26.26 per million….

Here is where it gets weird…

22 deaths out of the next 22 million doses.
Exactly 1 per million…. ???????

An over 96% improvement !!!!

Voila!!! Just like that!!!

That’s a one in a million chance folks.

Exactly. Exactly????

Not a chance, says I.

Now, it’s remarkably,1099 deaths out of 63,000,000 doses, claims the CDC….

And!, And!, With that, in the same breath, so to speak, the CDC cries, a newly improved, .0015% shot mortality rate, down phenomenally from .0026%!

(Amazing what a factor of .000001 applied to just over half your previous number will do to improve your odds or your image)

But there’s one pesky problem….
If you do the math, (Hat tip to Mr. Woods), .000015× 63,000,000 is only 945 deaths.

Hmmm… 945.…

154 people just came back to life…..

132 less dead than the previous 1077??

WTF ?????

Or to put it another way….

Cue the chalk sound on the board…

1099 deaths ÷ .000015 mortality rate = 73,266,667 shots administered, not 63,000,000.

Oops, off by a mere 10 million plus ???

?????????…..

That’s some pretty sloppy numbers coming from the CDC.

Cue up Mr. Woods Classic Nasal Tsk Snort Audio…

Tnnnhhh!!!

That’s Hogwash.

Who is in charge of statistics at the CDC, anyway???

Read this guy’s bio, it explains everything…

…”Throughout his career, he has excelled in leading the transformation of data collection and analysis systems to maximize their effectiveness, utility, and value”

He has overseen innovation efforts to modernize statistical concepts, methods, and operations, including expanded use of ” big data”, and associated platforms.”…

Sounds about right…

The injection does NOT PREVENT TRANSMISSION. It only prevents SYMPTOMS. They are potentially creating millions of asymptomatic super spreaders .

The injection is NOT a vaccine in the true sense of the definition .

It is AN EXPERIMENTAL MRNA vax approved for EMERGENCY USE only. We are the third phase of the study .

1000+ dead from the injection . Thousands more hospitalized already with debilitating reactions . No liability is levied on the makers , distributors or news media for delivering the shots, and falsely bragging about its “safety.”

The safety, and long-term risks of these rushed, fake “vaccines” are UNKNOWN.

In other words, vaccines are so valuable to society even though they have a very small small inherent risk, that the government took action to protect vaccine manufacturers from the normally horrendous, relentless greed of lawyers in exchange government having the right to establish detailed controls on their manufacture. Whose life is saved by preventing endless lawsuits against manufacturers? Oh! The thousands of people each year not killed or crippled by letting disease spread naturally? The many diseases that are prevented from killing or injuring due to vaccinations themselves have a much better record of death and injury than vaccines. But since the vaccines are so good at preventing this from public view, you choose to pretend that they don’t.

Yes, take away the profit from vaccine manufacture by endless lawsuits and few would want to make them. But that is a condemnation of the law system, not the vaccines. Immagine going back to a world of “normal childhood disease” outbreaks each year. Measles, closing schools and killing babies. Children crippled by polio- with so many those who to survive in braces just to be able to walk. Just because you are more afraid of vaccines.

Who benefits here?

Really?

Some people have a memory.

Some people even read books by those who boast of their plans for the future of humanity.

Some people have listen to the words of David Rockefeller, Henry Kissenger, zbigniew brzezinski, and countless others who have steered and influenced domestic and international policy for the consolidation of power and elimination of competition.

Some of us had parents and grandparents who fought for freedom.

It’s clear that many are quick to forget the painful lessons of unchecked power.

What’s the goal here?

It’s clear that it takes a massive amount of time and effort to push back at consolidation of our freedom’s and options.

You want to get vaxxed up, go for it, just recognize the complete lack of accountability for it.

From a .000026 chance of death, for the first 41 million doses,
1077 deaths.
Over 26 per million.

Then, a .000001 chance of death, for the next 22 million doses.
22 deaths.
Only one per million?

Think about that.

Why not only 41 deaths for the first 41 million doses?,

Why not 577 for the following 22 million doses?

Think about that.

Why call a combined 63 million doses with 1099 deaths a
.000015 chance of dying?

It’s not.

It IS a .0000174444 chance of dying.

These are supposed facts coming from the CDC.

I see that the policy of lockdown of citizens while allowing unregulated border crossings is seriously flawed as is typical in politicians in general. Because politicians are so irrational makes it more important to have vaccines. Not less. Because unlike places like New Zealand, the citizens in the US are not respected enough to be made safer by border control, which only imposes on non citizens. But they certainly are called xenophobic and racist if they want it. However, no politician is going to be called those things if they show more deference to non citizens than citizens so lockdowns inside the country are just fine.

But that liberal irrationality has nothing to do with vaccines except to make them more needed.

You have to recognize the level of optimal health that’s available for those who pay attention, and for those who can pay.

It sounds like a bandaid on a gunshot wound if you want to split Hairs.

In the vaccine centered world, there can be no ultimate health without them, in many different kinds of lifestyles, I don’t think they are needed.

Especially at schedule they are forcing on this new batch of crash test dummies.

Roll back to the 1980s and early 90s, with no mercury or thimerosal, we might have a dialogue.

Otherwise it’s immune system overload.

There are those who fully trust their life choices and health care enough to see vaccines as more of the problem, than the solution.

Let the consumer decide, like with everything else on this planet.

Customer is king.

The vaccine may be the poor man’s silver bullet.

Many vaccines do not “prevent infection”. The pertussis vaccine for example or the injected polio vaccine. But they prevent getting sick from the infection. And, since the symptoms such as coughing are used by the corona virus to spread itself, if the vaccine reduces those symptoms, the virus can not spread so easily and eventually infection spread is minimal. That is enough of a reason to get vaccinated. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/vaccines-need-not-completely-stop-covid-transmission-to-curb-the-pandemic1/

To say, as anti vaxxers have latched onto, that this means that vaccines are useless is like saying that since seatbelts do not prevent accidents, seatbelts are useless and no one should use them. That is totally lame. I wear a seatbelt because it has a good chance of preserving my life when an accident happens. Not because it magically keeps me from having one.

4Trinity,
I was referring to the actual reduction of potential drive time as a safety effect on others, of taking the time to fasten your seatbelt before driving. And that it would have more of a safety effect on others than a supposed vaccine related reduction of coughing associated with supposed minimized transmission, which
I believe is nil.

You’re right, I did read morality for mortality. My error. But apparently you are saying that a vaccine that prevents severe disease will not prevent death? Do you picture people who feel no illness are sudden just going to drop dead? I suppose that is a remote possibility but it should be obvious by now with first people to be vaccinated in nursing homes if that was happening. And this says the oppsite. Deaths have gone down by 66% as stated in this article.

” The number of weekly deaths in nursing homes has decreased by 66% since vaccination efforts began, compared to an overall increase in deaths among the general population during the same time period.”

Or post carefully in the proper thread? I suppose if people like TRB and Yeah, sure would not randomly post insults without reading when they see a name, the disadvantage of a unique name would disapear. But forcing them to do any reading first to make sure the have the right guest to attack has been some advantage so far. I’ve been toying with another name but I’ll wait to see if the other Guest disappears for a bit longer.

That “npr told you” remark is equivalent to the trite liberal “because Fox told you” diversion. I expect better.

The analogy is simple. If a person insists that something that helps in a bad situation should not be used because it does not prevent the situation is using pretty flawed reasoning. As to the “gene” mutation of mRNA vaccines- the reason they have to be maintained as such cold levels is because they are so fragile they barely survive anywhere. They don’t survive in a body either. They disappear in 3 days only by that time the body has recognized the sars-cov-2 virus as an enemy and rallied the immune system to fight it. If the vaccine actually did modify genes, then it would be a big question. That was my thought at first so I researched it to find reliable information that it doesn’t do that. They don’t reproduce at all.

I’ve started putting the time because it is hard to tell the Guests apart.

Lets look at it like looking at GMO’s in plants…

At first it looked like a great idea to scientists but now several years later they are finding out that it creates GMO resistant bugs and weeds
and leaves the ground sterile as farmers in Mexico and India will attest to.
Farmers are left to buy GMO seeds now year after year when they use to save their own seed.
People haven’t even had the first vaccine and they are already being told they will need it year after year.

Sound familiar?

I recall when Mendocino banned GMO’s. And when the tree trimmers come around I always ask them NOT to spray their herbicides. I don’t want to end up drinking them….do they go away in three days?

And as for Drug companies, how many baby bottoms were powdered with Johnson and Johnsons Baby powder before they discovered it causes cancer?

And why were drug companies FORCED to add side effect disclaimers to their never ending commercials? Most side effects being worse than the condition being treated.

There is a long list of things that seemed good but turned out to be bad. Individuals have many times said “It seemed a good idea at the time.” Not just corporations. Little is an unalloyed good. But do you assume everyone is out to hurt you because sometime, somehow someone did? If so, you would also miss out on the good. If anything, you learn to refine personal judgement.

I have never thought GMO products were good. Humans have way too little knowledge at this point to avoid catastrophe. Especially any product designed to withstand more toxins so more toxins can be applied without killing it. That is asking for making the problems of pests geometrically worsen. But that does not mean that I won’t use even vinegar as a weed killer. It means I try to think about it first. I have thought about covid-19 vaccines and decided that at my age the risks of the disease far outweigh the risks of the vaccine.

I actually wrote “npr et al”. Et al basically means “and others”.

That includes fox and nearly all msm. They are, no doubt, all attempting to steer public opinion

I find it odd that people who believe in my body my choice when it come to abortion, where there is 100% chance the baby will die, don’t think my body my choice should apply to people who believe vaccinations can be harmful, because some elderly might die.

Children already must be vaccinated to go to school. Yet children do not need a parents permission to get an abortion because children are under government control.
At what point are you just turning your body over to whatever the government decides to inject you with, without your consent?
A covid jab now but what about tomorrow? Next week? Next year?
Once you give that right away do you really think you will get it back?

I’m elderly and have some health issues but I believe everyone should have the opportunity to decide whats right for themselves.

You do not have to get the vaccination. Children are required to get some vaccinations because they are in a place, a school, where they blithely share everything from spit to head lice. And even they are not required to be vaccinated unless they go to such a regulated school. My assurance about vaccination come from my own experience where my older sister started school before vaccinations were available and brought home to the younger me chicken pox, measles and mumps within the first months. Which lead to me getting all of them too, one right after another, which lead to pneumonia, encephalitis, kidney infections, complications my sister did not have although she did suffer some hearing loss. I’d have much rather not have spent that year and more getting xrays, antibiotics and my mother’s onions boiled in honey cough syrup.

Employers , airlines and others are mandating the jab.

As a child I received all the vaccines offered and still got the measles.

Now as an adult I wonder if the allergies i developed at 6 yrs old and other immune issues I have are related to those vaccines, or maybe just the insecticides sprayed in the playgrounds and other chemical assaults on our bodies.

Could have played a part. But then I also know vaccines put a sudden and sharp end to children showing up in school with iron leg braces due to polio each year. The measles vaccine wasn’t developed until 1963, which was after I got the measles. So did you get vaccinated for it in childhood?

I don’t recall at what age or if it was before or after that I had the measles… it was a long time ago. But I would have been vaccinated as soon as schools started making them available.

Not if you had measles first. I never had a vaccination for it.

Measles isn’t really my point.

An accumulation of tampering with our immune system with an experiment that is already forecasted to continue indefinitely is
something people should consider very carefully and not just go with the flow without careful consideration of future damage to themselves and/or their children.

If you add to that the unpopular war drums beating and immigration policy’s being pushed while people aren’t paying attention due to obsession with covid, I see alarm bells going off in many directions.

There is much controversy over the vaccinations people have already received especially since censorship is being used to eliminate the conversation by Big Tech and others in power.

Diversion is a staple of magic tricks.

So, Guest,

You are saying get the vaccine, because you will cough less if you do get Covid19, therefore limiting possible transmission, eventually minimizing spread, and that is reason enough?
You are too kind. So considerate.

You are really stretching it beyond thin.

That’s like saying because it takes time to fasten your seatbelt, you actually drive less, therefore making it safer.

And as long as you fasten your seatbelt before you drive, it does magically keep you from having an accident, while you are at it.
Except for maybe spilling your coffee on yourself.

It is actually more plausible than a
reduction in virus transmissibility due to the cough suppressant value of the vaccine.

Vaccine mortality is the only way it will prevent transmission.

They know that, but, cough, cough, they ain’t gonna tell you that.

Take cough syrup.

You don’t need to alter your genetic makeup to suppress a cough.

Or maybe just Vit. C D and zinc.

Unfortunately none of the things you mention has proven to be what people hoped they would be. Docters are eager to look into them and many studies have been initiated to confirm these. It would be nice if they did but so far they’ve all been found wanting. Even the latest vitamin d study that sounded so authoritative was rejected by the Lancet as “deeply flawed.” The doctors who did it have yet to respond.

https://www.acsh.org/news/2021/02/26/vitamin-d-covid-19-trial-real-mess-15369

The only explanation for some individuals having resistance has been blood type but no amount of supplementation can change that.

Yes, regarding coughing, I did certainly say that. The vaccinated get both the benefits of not being as sick and those around them of it not being spread so easily to themselves. For some reason, you seem to think that is not a good thing.

Vaccine morality? Really? I suppose what you mean is that you feel that it is immoral to cause risk to one person in a couple of hundred thousand to prevent what everyone else sees as serious risk to 50,000. That simply reducing the risk to the 50,000 is not enough. While it would be best if the vaccine eliminated the virus so no one could get it ( that has yet to be proven either way), it does not mean that second best, people not being killed by the virus, has no value. Get real.

Well, you are not forced to get vaccinated. Most people might think you are silly to make that choice but would understand your fears have a small basis in reality and let it go. What they don’t understand is the persistent attempt to make the large percentage of those who are more realistic about the risks so afraid by repeating nonsense endlessly. The old generating lots of smoke so people believe there must be a fire.

There is a rational fear in getting vaccinated. It can cause rare problems. To constantly exaggerate those rare problems in order to feel better about your own choice is what is immoral. You have right to your own doubts. You have a right to express them. But the amount of outrage when people disagree that letting nature its course is best is far in excess of the vaccine or no vaccine issue as nowhere has even the worst vaccine missteps lead to more misery than the suffering of those societies unfortunate enough not to have access to vaccination.

Also your analogy about it taking time to latch a seat belt is not correct. Either in deciding what I think or in reality. A person who latches a seat belt does not spend less time driving. They spend the same time driving as it takes the time it takes to drive anywhere.

“Eviction Moratorium Ruled Unconstitutional, Largest Tsunami Of Evictions In U.S. History Incoming…”
Judge J. Campbell Barker

Millions will be living on the streets….

“In January, U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested 7,260 people traveling as families, compared with about 4,500 in December. The last time so many migrant families were arrested was in December 2019.” WSJ

Thousands will be on the streets….

Do you think they will be vaccinated?

9% of covid relief package is for covid relief.

It will be a good year for lawyers though.

Again unfortunately, experience has now shown “co morbidity” that makes dying of covid more likely pretty includes a large percentage of the population. Was it ever enough for the massive and erratic government regulation of society? I don’t think so. But it’s a nasty bug and, if getting a vaccine prevents getting sick from it, I’m certainly going to get it.

Comparing the garbage injections cooked up by big pharma to the polio vaccine is using zero critical thinking skills.

1. Polio is a one-time dose that
provides LIFETIME IMMUNITY.

-Compared to the covid-19 concoction, which they’re projecting diminishes in effectiveness WITHIN MONTHS, making the cult of (maybe effective against the collection of current mutations, maybe not) annual covid-jab biz biz.

2. Polio vaccine was in development and testing for OVER TWENTY YEARS. The vaccines were safety-tested on rhesus monkeys, young mice, guinea pigs and rabbits, BEFORE BEING USED ON PEOPLE.
-You can count on two hands the number of MONTHS that went in to the vaccines that are now being injected into people’s bodies. Sure the mRNA research has been in the works. Not in this form.

It’s reckless! And imo flashing images of people enduring the horror of iron lungs as an endorsement for this mad scientist global experiment is seriously ignorant.

No comparison.

If I hear the word polio one more time….SMH

No there isn’t a equal comparison. The polio vaccine had some serious missteps in its development too. It was rushed and lead to problems too. But the virulence of the polio virus was such that people kept at it despite errors. To eventually stop polio in the US. https://flo.health/health-articles/diseases/infectious-diseases/polio-vaccine-history

Whether the covid-19 vaccines will have such missteps is unknown, although less likely as much has been learned about vaccines since polio vaccines were started. And whether covid-19 is as serious as the press has hyped it is questionable. But looking at what is really known now, the vaccines seem less dangerous by a good bit than the disease. So I will get it when I don’t get flu vaccinations any more. All anyone can do is read (not national media) and make up their own minds. Not offering the vaccine would mean someone had made the choice for you. Something not to be desired.
